Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menggambarkan secara mendalam bagaimana pembinaan di Asrama Seminari Petrus Van Diepen Sorong mendukung perkembangan intelektual dan moral siswa. Dengan pendekatan kualitatif studi kasus, data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan analisis dokumen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa program pembinaan yang terstruktur efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis, kreativitas, pemecahan masalah, serta membentuk kesadaran etis, empati, dan tanggung jawab siswa. Tantangan seperti padatnya jadwal dan keberagaman latar belakang diatasi dengan pendekatan reflektif dan diskusi. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan penguatan fasilitas dan strategi pembinaan berbasis nilai untuk membentuk generasi muda yang cerdas dan berkarakter. Kata kunci: Kemampuan intelektual dan kecerdasan moral / This study aims to provide an in-depth description of how the formation program at the Petrus Van Diepen Seminary Dormitory in Sorong supports the intellectual and moral development of students. Using a qualitative case study approach, data were collected through observation, interviews, and document analysis. The results indicate that the structured formation program is effective in enhancing critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving skills, as well as in fostering ethical awareness, empathy, and a sense of responsibility among students. Challenges such as a tight schedule and diverse backgrounds are addressed through reflective approaches and group discussions. The study recommends strengthening facilities and implementing value-based formation strategies to shape a generation of intelligent and virtuous youth.
