Abstract

ABSTRAK Tesis ini membahas tentang Model Pembelajaran TEACCH pada peserta Katekisasi Penyandang Autisme di Jemaat HKBP Cilodong – Depok. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui realitas kehidupan penyandang autisme sebagai anggota komunitas gereja yang dalam kesempatannya memiliki hak yang sama untuk mendapatkan pengajaran katekisasi. Serta, Menangkap bahwa terdapat gereja telah ataupun sudah melakukan langkah kecil yang baik dalam merangkul jemaat untuk akses memperoleh pembelajaran kateksisasi bagi penyandang autisme. Dan, Memberikan perspektif baru terhadap cara pengajaran menggunakan model pembelajaran Treatment and Education of Autistic and Related Communication Handicapped Children (TEACCH) dalam bentuk pelayanan pengajaran katekisasi gereja. Sekaligus, Memberikan langkah baru khususnya untuk pelayan gereja, agar dapat sama-sama mampu memahami situasi model pembelajaran yang relevan bagi peserta katekisasi penyandang autisme. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif. Dengan demikian, metode ini akan berusaha untuk menggali atau menemukan secara lebih dalam realitas. Oleh karena itu, untuk jenis peneltiian ini akan mendeskripsikan apa yang di dapat di dalam proses penelitian. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh peneliti adalah: Dalam wawancara ditemukan bahwa dari pihak pelayan HKBP Cilodong – Depok bahwa pelayan yang belum mengetahui nama model yang secara studi dinamakan TEACCH, namun secara tak sadar pelayan HKBP Cilodong-Depok telah melakukan model pembelajaran TEACCH yang ramah bagi para penyandang autisme. Ketidaksadaran ini sepertinya merupakan wujud dari belum tersebarnya studi mengenai model pembelajaran TEACCH bagi gereja – gereja, tetapi kita bisa melihat bahwa kepedulian gereja kepada para penyandang autisme akhirnya menghasilkan model pembelajaran yang bisa diinisiasikan sebagai bagian model pembelajaran TEACCH. Model pembelajaran yang diberikan kepada oleh pelayan HKBP Cilodong – Depok dapat diinisiasikan sebagai model TEACCH karena memiliki beberapa aspek yang paling penting muncul di dalamnya. Dapat dengan yakini dan dikatakan mengatakan bahwa pembelajaran yang diberikan oleh HKBP Cilodong – Depok dikategorikan sebagai model pembelajaran TEACCH. Karena di dalam pembelajaran ini terdapat unsur-unsur yang di dalamnya memiliki karakteristik dari model pembelajaran TEACCH terlihat diantara lain dari segi aspek Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajan Pertemuan, Materi Pembelajaran, Tujuan Pembelajaran, Capaian Pembelajaran, Alur Pembelajaran, Cara Pengajaran. Berdasarkan hasil analisis dan pembahasan data yang telah ditemukan, maka kesimpulan singkat tersebut diantara lain ialah: Gereja sebagai ruang dasar seorang Kristen mengembangkan keimanannya kepada Tuhan perlu menjadi tempat yang ramah bagi semua orang. Tempat yang ramah dalam konteks tulisan ini adalah ruang yang nyaman bagi semua semua orang untuk dapat mempelajari imannya sebagai seorang Kristen. Dan, Gereja harus sebagai tempat yang nyaman bagi semua orang juga artinya perlu memiliki metode-metode yang berbeda dalam memberikan pengajarannya, dalam hal ini pengajaran katekisasi. ABSTRACT This thesis discusses the TEACCH Learning Model for Catechization Participants for People with Autism at the HKBP Cilodong – Depok Congregation. This research aims to find out the reality of the lives of people with autism as members of the church community who have the same opportunity to receive catechism instruction. As well as, realizing that there are churches that have or have taken small, good steps in reaching out to congregations for access to catechism learning for people with autism. And, Providing a new perspective on teaching methods using the Treatment and Education of Autistic and Related Communication Handicapped Children (TEACCH) learning model in the form of church catechism teaching services. At the same time, providing new steps, especially for church ministers, so that they can both understand the situation of learning models that are relevant for catechism participants with autism. This research uses a qualitative research method. Thus, this method will attempt to explore or discover reality more deeply. Therefore, this type of research will describe what was obtained in the research process. The research results obtained by the researcher are: In interviews, it was found that the HKBP Cilodong – Depok servants that the servants did not know the name of the model which is called TEACCH in the study, but unconsciously the HKBP Cilodong – Depok servants had carried out the TEACCH learning model which is friendly for people with disabilities. autism. This unawareness seems to be a manifestation of the lack of widespread studies regarding the TEACCH learning model for churches, but we can see that the church's concern for people with autism has finally produced a learning model that can be initiated as part of the TEACCH learning model. The learning model given to HKBP Cilodong – Depok servants can be initiated as the TEACCH model because it has several of the most important aspects appearing in it. It can be confident and said that the learning provided by HKBP Cilodong – Depok is categorized as the TEACCH learning model. In this learning, some elements have the characteristics of the TEACCH learning model which can be seen, among other things, in terms of aspects of the Meeting Learning Implementation Plan, Learning Materials, Learning Objectives, Learning Achievements, Learning Flow, and Teaching Methods. Based on the results of the analysis and discussion of the data that has been found, the brief conclusions include: The church as a basic space for a Christian to develop his faith in God needs to be a friendly place for everyone. A friendly place in the context of this article is a comfortable space for everyone to learn about their faith as a Christian. And, the Church must be a comfortable place for everyone, which also means it needs to have different methods of providing teaching, in this case, catechism teaching.
