Abstract

Masalah dalam penelitian ini yaitu guru lebih dominan mengajar menggunakan metode ceramah pada mata pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Kristen (PAK). Saat guru mengajar menggunakan metode ceramah peserta didik merasa bosan, pasif, tidak mau berpikir secara kritis sedangkan di saat mengajar menggunakan metode kerja kelompok peserta didik aktif, tidak bosan dan suasana kelas menjadi hidup, namun sebagian peserta didik tidak mampu berpikir secara kritis.Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui apakah metode kerja kelompok efektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik kelas XI pada mata pelajaran PAK dan Untuk Mengetahui Faktor yang dapat meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik kelas XI pada mata pelajaran PAK di SMA Negeri 96 Jakarta Barat. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitina ini yaitu kualitatif deskriptif, yang bermaksud untuk memahami tentang apa yang dialami oleh subjek penelitian secara utuh, menyeluruh, dan mendeskripsikan dalam bentuk lisan dan bahasa. Responden dalam penelitian ini ada 10 orang peserta didik dan 1 orang guru PAK. Hasil penelitian ini adalah metode kerja kelompok sangat efektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik kelas XI pada mata pelajaran PAK di SMA Negeri 96 Jakarat Barat. Kesimpulan metode kerja kelompok dinyatakan efektif meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis, dinyatakan efektif karena peserta didik lebih banyak menyukai belajar menggunakan metode kerja kelompok, berani mengutataran ide-ide baru, bebas berpendapat, bekerja sama, berani berbicara depan kelas. Kemudian meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis karena peserta didik mampu menganalisis, memahami, mencari referensi yang relevan, kemampuan bertanya, mengkritik, dan menyelesaikan permasalahan serta kerjakan tugas yang diberikan oleh guru dengan baik. / The problem in this research is that teachers predominantly teach using the lecture method in Christian Religious Education (PAK) subjects. When teachers teach using the lecture method, students feel bored, passive, and do not want to think critically, whereas when teaching using the group work method, students are active, not bored and the class atmosphere becomes lively, but some students are not able to think critically. The aim of this research is to find out whether the group work method is effective in improving the critical thinking skills of class XI students in PAK subjects and to find out factors that can improve the critical thinking skills of class The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative, which aims to understand what the research subjects experienced completely, comprehensively, and describe it in verbal and linguistic form. The respondents in this study were 10 students and 1 PAK teacher. The results of this research are that the group work method is very effective in improving the critical thinking skills of class XI students in PAK subjects at SMA Negeri 96 West Jakarta. The conclusion is that the group work method is declared effective in improving critical thinking skills. it is declared effective because students prefer to learn using group work methods, and dare to express new ideas, are free to express opinions, work together, dare to speak in front of the class. Then improve thinking skills because students are able to analyze, understand, look for relevant references, the ability to ask questions, criticize, and solve problems and carry out assignments given by the teacher well
