Abstract
Setiap perusahaan membutuhkan sumber daya manusia yang dapat bekerja secara aktif dan efisien. Suatu perusahaan membutuhkan kemauan dan kemampuan yang kuat dari diri karyawan untuk mencapai tujuan. Banyak perusahaan yang membagi karyawan berdasarkan statusnya, yaitu karyawan kontrak dan karyawan tetap. Pembagian karyawan berdasarkan status dapat menimbulkan perbedaan perilaku. Salah satu perusahaan yang menerapkan pembagian status karyawan adalah Matahari Departement Store Metropolitan Mall. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis perbandingan antara karyawan kontrak dan karyawan tetap yang ditinjau dari motivasi kerja dan loyalitas kerja. Populasi yang digunakan adalah seluruh karyawan yang ada di Matahari Departement Store Metropolitan Mall, kemudian didapatkan sampel sebanyak 21 karyawan kontrak dan 21 karyawan tetap sebagai responden. Pengujian dilakukan menggunakan Independent Sample t-test untuk menguji perbedaan motivasi kerja dan loyalitas kerja antara karyawan kontrak dan karyawan tetap dengan alat bantu SPSS Versi 27. Hasil dari uji independent sample t-test yang dilakukan pada kedua variabel memiliki nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,138 yang lebih besar dari nila α yaitu 0,05. Maka dapat disimpulkan H0 diterima, artinya secara parsial tidak terdapat perbedaan Motivasi Kerja dan Loyalitas Kerja karyawan kontrak dan karyawan tetap di Matahari Departement Store Metropolitan Mall. Dalam penelitian ini menemukan tidak adanya perbedaan signifikan motivasi kerja dan loyalitas kerja antara karyawan kontrak dan karyawan tetap di Matahari Departement Store Metropolitan Mall. Kata Kunci : perbandingan, motivasi kerja, loyalitas kerja. / Every company needs human resources who can work actively and efficiently. A company requires a strong will and ability from employees to achieve goals. Many companies divide employees based on their status, namely contract employees and permanent employees. The division of employees based on status can lead to differences in behavior. One company that implements the division of employee status is Matahari Department Store Metropolitan Mall. The purpose of this study was to analyze the comparison between contract employees and permanent employees in terms of work motivation and work loyalty. The population used was all employees at the Matahari Department Store Metropolitan Mall, then a sample of 21 contract employees and 21 permanent employees were obtained as respondents. Tests were carried out using the Independent Sample T-test to test differences in work motivation and work loyalty between contract employees and permanent employees with the SPSS Version 27 tool. The results of the independent sample t-test conducted on both variables have a significance value of 0.138 which is greater than the α value of 0.05. So it can be concluded that H0 is accepted, meaning that partially there is no difference in Work Motivation and Work Loyalty of contract employees and permanent employees at Matahari Department Store Metropolitan Mall. In this study found no significant differences in work motivation and work loyalty between contract employees and permanent employees at Matahari Department Store Metropolitan Mall.
