Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan rancangan buku matematika SMA kelas XI pada materi limit fungsi. Untuk mengembangkan rancangan buku tersebut, penelitian ini menggunakan standar proses NCTM (National Council of Teachers of Mathematics) dan berfokus juga dalam meningkatkan daya kreativitas dan nilai sosial siswa. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian dan pengembangan (Research and Development) tingkat 1. Metode penelitian terdiri dari beberapa tahapan, yaitu menganalisa potensi dan masalah yang ada, studi literatur, pengumpulan informasi terkait penanganan masalah dengan berdasarkan potensi yang ada, merancang produk, mendesain produk, validasi desain produk, dan mendapatkan desain produk yang teruji. Validasi desain dilakukan oleh para ahli yang terdiri dari ahli materi, ahli penulisan, dan ahli desain. Data penelitian berupa hasil validasi ahli yang diperoleh sebesar 4,33 dengan kategori sangat valid. Dengan ini rancangan buku siap diterapkan pada proses uji coba dan kelas besar pada metode penelitian dan pengembangan selanjutnya. Kata Kunci: Rancangan buku matematika, NCTM, kreativitas, limit fungsi / This study aims to develop the design of a high school mathematics book on limit function. To develop the design of the book, this research used the standard process of the NCTM (National Council of Teachers of Mathematics) and also focuses on increasing students creativity and social velue. The method used in this study is a level 1 research and development method. The research method consists of several stages, namely analyzing the potential and existing problems, studying literature, collecting information related to handling problems based on existing potential, planning products, designing products, and getting tested product designs. Design validation is carried out by experts consisting of material experts, writing experts, and design experts. The research data in the form of experts validation results obtained is 4.33 with a very valid category. With this the book design is ready to be applied to the trial process and large classes on further research and development methods.
