Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas tentang meningkatkan hasil belajar Pendidikan Agama Kristen melalui model pembelajaran berbasis masalah pada siswa kelas XI IPA SMA Negeri 2 Semau, Kabupaten Kupang. Berdasarkan wawancara awal diketahui bahwa pembelajaran masih menggunakan model konvensional sehingga berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar siswa yang belum mencapai KKM. Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar Pendidikan Agama Kristen pada kelas XI IPA SMA Negeri 2 Semau, Kabupaten Kupang. Dalam penelitian ini metode yang dipakai ialah metode penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) yang dilakukan dalam 3 siklus karena telah mencapai kriteria ketuntasan hasil belajar yang ditetapkan. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI IPA yang berjumlah 27 orang dan 1 orang guru mata pelajaran PAK. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini melalui analisis data kualitatif dan analisis data kuantitatif menggunakan instrumen tes untuk menilai hasil belajar. Hasil penelitian tesis ini menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan hasil belajar peserta didik dengan menerapkan model berbasis masalah di siklus 1 hanya 7 orang siswa yang memperoleh nilai diatas 75 dan rata-rata ketuntasan ialah 69,62% dan berada pada kategori cukup. Sedangkan pembelajaran dengan model berbasis masalah pada siklus 2 meningkat menjadi 13 orang siswa yang memperoleh nilai diatas 75 dan rata-rata ketuntasan ialah 72,96% dan berada pada kategori cukup. Selanjutnya pada siklus 3 hasil belajar meningkat menjadi 23 orang siswa yang memperoleh nilai di atas 75 dan rata-rata ketuntasan ialah 78,88% dan berada pada kategori baik. Dari penelitian yang dilaksanakan ini, dapat disimpulkan bahwa melalui penerapan model pembelajaran berbasis masalah dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas XI IPA SMA Negeri Semau, Kabupaten Kupang. Kata Kunci: Hasil Belajar Pendidikan Agama Kristen, Model Pembelajaran Berbasis Masalah./ This study discusses about improving the learning outcomes of Christian Religious Education through a problem-based learning model for students of class XI science at SMA Negeri 2 Semau, Kupang Regency. Based on the initial interview, it is known that learning is still using conventional models so that it affects the learning outcomes of students who have not reached the KKM. The purpose of this research is to improve the learning outcomes of Christian Religious Education in class XI IPA SMA Negeri 2 Semau, Kupang Regency. In this study, the method used is the classroom action research method (CAR) which is carried out in 3 cycles because it has reached the criteria for learning outcomes that have been determined. The subjects in this study were 27 students of class XI IPA and 1 teacher of PAK. The data collection technique in this study was through qualitative data analysis and quantitative data analysis using test instruments to assess learning outcomes. The results of this thesis research indicate that there is an increase in student learning outcomes by applying a problem-based model in cycle 1 only 7 students who get scores above 75 and the average completeness is 69.62% and is in the sufficient category. While the problem-based learning model in cycle 2 increased to 13 students who scored above 75 and the average completeness was 72.96% and was in the sufficient category. Furthermore, in cycle 3 learning outcomes increased to 23 students who scored above 75 and the average completeness was 78.88% and was in the good category. From this research, it can be concluded that through the application of problem-based learning models can improve student learning outcomes in class XI science at SMA Negeri Semau, Kupang Regency.
