Abstract

Permasalahan yang terjadi pada siswa kelas VIII di SMP Negeri I Sabu Tengah ialah terdapat beberapa siswa yang mengalami kesulitan belajar Bahasa Indoensia sehingga memperoleh hasil yang rendah serta kesulitan dalam mengikuti kegiatan belajar di kelas dengan baik. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui gambaran kesulitan belajar Bahasa Indonesia pada siswa kelas VIII SMPN I Sabu Tengah Nusa Tenggara Timur dan kontribusinya terhadap usulan topik layanan bimbingan kelompok. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Data yang dikumpulkan adalah data wawancara observasi, dan dokumentasi yang diperoleh peneliti di SMP Negeri I Sabu Tengah-Nusa Tenggara Timur. Adapun informan dalam penelitian ini yaitu siswa-siswi yang mengalami kesulitan belajar Bahasa Indonesia, guru Bimbingan dan Konseling dan guru mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa siswa yang mengalami kesulitan belajar Bahasa Indonesia disebabkan oleh beberapa faktor yaitu kurangnya pemahaman dalam menggunakan Bahasa Indonesia yang baik dan benar, kurangnya konsentrasi, kurangnya motivasi dalam belajar, kurangnya fasilitas yang digunakan, perekonomian yang kurang memadai, kurangnya rasa percaya diri, dan memiliki keterbatasan pada bagian pendengaran (fisik) oleh karena itu peneliti mengusulkan layanan bimbingan kelompok berupa permainan untuk mengatasi masalah kesulitan dalam mengikuti pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia. Kata Kunci: Belajar, Kesulitan, Pelajaran./ The problem that occurs in class VIII students at SMP Negeri I Sabu Tengah is that there are some students who have difficulty learning Indonesian so that they get low results and have difficulty participating in learning activities in class properly. The purpose of this study was to describe the difficulties in learning Indonesian in class VIII SMPN I Sabu Tengah Nusa Tenggara Timur and its contribution to the proposed topic of group guidance services. This research method uses qualitative research methods with a descriptive approach. The data collected were interview data, observations, and documentation obtained by researchers at SMP Negeri I Sabu Tengah-East Nusa Tenggara. The informants in this study were students who had difficulty learning Indonesian, Guidance and Counseling teachers and Indonesian language teachers. The results of this study indicate that students who have difficulty learning Indonesian are caused by several factors, namely lack of understanding in using good and correct Indonesian, lack of concentration, lack of motivation in learning, lack of facilities used, inadequate economy, lack of self-confidence. , and has limitations in the auditory (physical) part, therefore the researcher proposes group guidance services in the form of games to overcome the problem of difficulties in participating in Indonesian lessons.
