Abstract
Penyusunan tesis sebagai salah satu upaya pelestarian budaya Natoni yang dilakukan di lingkungan SMA Kristen 1 Soe, Kabupaten Timor Tengah Selatan dan mengetahui pengembangan kurikulum Pendidikan Agama Kristen kontekstual yang mengakomodasi Budaya Natoni Adat Timor Dawan Melalui Pengembangan Kurikulum Pendidikan Agama Kristen di Sekolah Menengah Atas Kristen 1 Soe, Kabupaten Kabupaten Timor Tengah Selatan. Dalam penelitian ini, peneliti menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan etnografi. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Adapun informan dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari 21 orang, antara lain: 1 orang Wakil Kepala Sekolah, 2 orang guru mata pelajaran seni budaya, 3 orang guru mata pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Kristen, 6 orang siswa, 3 orang pemerintah, 2 orang tokoh agama dan 4 orang tokoh adat. Dari hasil penelitian ini, peneliti menyimpulkan bahwa upaya pelestarian budaya Natoni yang dilakukan oleh Sekolah Menengah Atas Kristen 1 Soe adalah berbentuk praktik yaitu dalam acara penerimaan dan pelepasan tamu, lomba pentas budaya, ujian praktik baik dalam setiap semester maupun dalam ujian sekolah bagi kelas XII. Selain itu, belum adanya pengembangan kurikulum Pendidikan Agama Kristen kontekstual yang mengakomodasi budaya Natoni adat Timor Dawan di SMA Kristen 1 Soe, Kabupaten Timor Tengah Selatan. Kata Kunci: Pelestarian Budaya, Natoni, Pengembangan Kurikulum, Pendidikan Agama Kristen Kontekstual./ Writing a thesis as part of an effort to preserve Natoni culture was done at Christian Senior High School 1 Soe, South Central Timor Regency, and included knowledge of the development of a contextual Christian Religious Education curriculum that accommodates Timor Dawan Indigenous National Culture. Researchers employed an ethnographic approach and qualitative research methods in this study. Utilized data collection methods include observation, documentation, and interviewing. Twenty-one people made up the study's informants, including a vice principal, two art and culture teachers, three Christian religious education teachers, six students, three government officials, two religious leaders, and four traditional leaders. The study's findings led the researchers to the conclusion that Christian Senior High School 1 Soe's efforts to conserve Natoni culture were practice-based, including the welcoming and releasing of guests, competitions for cultural performances, practical assessments each semester, and class XII exams. Additionally, SMA Kristen 1 Soe, Timor Tengah Selatan Regency, has not developed a contextual Christian Religious Education curriculum that respects the traditional Natoni culture of Timor Dawan.
