Abstract

Representasi pemberitaan kasus pemerkosaan terhadap perempuan di media online masih menunjukkan ketidak berimbangan. Salah satunya ketika media mengangkat kasus pemerkosaan yang dikaitkan dengan minuman keras sebagai penyebab utama terjadinya pemerkosaan. Representasi semacam ini perlu diteliti guna memberikan gambaran bagaimana media merepresentasikan korban pemerkosaan yang selama ini berpotensi dikorbankan dalam pemberitaan. Penelitian ini menggunakan konsep representasi media dan pembingkaian dan metode analisis framing model Pan dan Kosicki. Hasil penelitian menemukan perempuan masih direpresentasikan sebagai pihak yang pantas menerima pemerkosaan dikarenakan lemah, tidak berdaya, melawan, cantik, sexy, gampangan, tidak memiliki kuasa atas tubuhnya, dan mabuk. Selain itu, keberadaan perempuan dalam kasus pemerkosaan tidak hanya direpresentasikan sebagai korban tetapi juga sebagai penyebab terjadinya pemerkosaan itu sendiri. Kata kunci: representasi, pembingkaian, analisis teks, pemerkosaan, minuman keras./ The representation of sexual violence against women in online media still shows an imbalance. One of them was when the media raised cases of sexual violence that were linked to alcohol as the main cause of rape. This kind of representation needs to be researched in order to give an idea of how the media represents rape victims who have the potential to be sacrificed in the news. This study uses the concept of media representation and framing and the analysis method of framing the Pan and Kosicki model. The results of the study found that women are still represented as parties who deserve sexual violence because they are weak, helpless, resisting, beautiful, sexy, easy, have no power over their bodies, and drunk. In addition, the presence of women in rape cases is not only represented as victims but also as the cause of the rape itself.
