Abstract
This study aims to see the application of learning model of team games tournament (TGT) to increase the students’ creativity in problem solving in the material balance of rigid objects and the center of objects gravity. This study will be held in SMAN 14 Jakarta, the population is all the students of XI MIPA. The sample chosen for this study was students of grade XI MIPA 3 and XI MIPA 4 that was taken by cluster random sampling. This method of this study used quasi experiment with pretest and posttest control group design. The instrument used in this study was 16 essay questions. After the implementation of learning models in the experimental class the result of the study showed an increase in the average scores of student learning at the time of pretest with an average score of students 32 to 81 at the post-test level. In experimental class the increase of creativity happened around 47,43% on very creative criteria. Meanwhile, the result of increased students’ creativity experienced in control class is still quite creative. In other words, the learning of model TGT can increase students’ creativity seen from the increase in students’ learning outcomes that showed positive correlation with increasing students’ creativity.
