Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara motivasi kerja dan lingkungan kerja fisik terhadap kinerja karyawan di PT Arina Multikarya Jakarta. Latar belakang penelitian ini didasarkan pada pentingnya pengelolaan sumber daya manusia yang didukung oleh motivasi kerja yang baik serta lingkungan kerja fisik yang nyaman dan aman dalam meningkatkan kinerja karyawan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif asosiatif dengan pendekatan korelasi. Populasi dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 70 orang karyawan, dan seluruh populasi dijadikan sampel dengan metode sampling jenuh. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui penyebaran kuesioner yang telah diuji validitas dan reliabilitasnya. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara motivasi kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan, serta antara lingkungan kerja fisik terhadap kinerja karyawan. Selain itu, secara simultan, motivasi kerja dan lingkungan kerja fisik juga menunjukkan hubungan yang kuat dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa perusahaan perlu mengelola motivasi kerja dan memperbaiki lingkungan kerja fisik secara berkelanjutan guna mendukung peningkatan kinerja karyawan dan pencapaian tujuan perusahaan secara optimal. Kata kunci: Motivasi Kerja, Lingkungan Kerja Fisik, Kinerja Karyawan / This study aims to examine the relationship between work motivation and physical work environment on employee performance at PT Arina Multikarya Jakarta. The background of this study is based on the importance of human resource management supported by high work motivation and a comfortable and safe physical work environment in improving employee performance. This research employed a quantitative associative method with a correlational approach. The population of this study consisted of 70 employees, and all members of the population were used as the research sample through a saturated sampling technique. Data were collected through questionnaires that had been tested for validity and reliability. The results indicate that there is a positive and significant relationship between work motivation and employee performance, as well as between physical work environment and employee performance. Furthermore, simultaneously, work motivation and physical work environment show a strong and significant relationship with employee performance. These findings suggest that the company should consistently manage work motivation and improve the physical work environment to enhance employee performance and achieve organizational goals optimally.
