Abstract

Karya ini membahas peran unsur audiovisual dalam menggambarkan upaya pencegahan terhadap praktik pinjaman online (pinjol) dan judi online (judol) di kalangan Generasi Z melalui video podcast berjudul Penyalahgunaan Pinjol dan Judol dalam Membangun Bisnis di Era Gen Z. Fokus utama karya ini terletak pada pemanfaatan komposisi shot size dan sound design sebagai elemen audiovisual yang digunakan untuk membangun narasi pencegahan secara efektif. Kedua elemen tersebut berperan dalam memperkuat penyampaian pesan, membangun keterlibatan emosional audiens, serta meningkatkan pemahaman mengenai pentingnya menghindari praktik pinjol dan judol serta mengarahkan Gen Z pada aktivitas yang lebih produktif. Penulis sebagai editor menggunakan sound design sebagai dari penyampaian narasi narasumber terhadap audiens. Sementara itu, penerapan variasi shot size, seperti medium shot, medium wide shot, dan medium close-up, digunakan untuk memperkuat narasi visual yang mendukung proses penyampaian serta pemaknaan informasi yang disampaikan oleh narasumber. Setiap jenis shot size dipilih berdasarkan kebutuhan komunikasi visual agar mampu menampilkan ekspresi, gestur, dan konteks secara efektif. Selain itu, kombinasi antara penggunaan variasi shot size dan penerapan sound design yang tepat berkontribusi dalam meningkatkan kedalaman makna pesan yang disampaikan, sekaligus membangun keterlibatan emosional audiens terhadap topik yang dibahas dalam video podcast. Pada akhirnya, video podcast Penyalahgunaan Pinjol dan Judol dalam Membangun Bisnis di Era Gen Z tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai media informasi dan edukasi mengenai upaya pencegahan terhadap praktik pinjaman online (pinjol) dan judi online (judol), tetapi juga berperan sebagai sarana komunikasi sosial yang efektif. Melalui penyajian pesan yang didukung oleh unsur audiovisual, video podcast ini diharapkan mampu meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat, khususnya Gen Z. / This work discusses the role of audiovisual elements in describing efforts to prevent the practice of online lending (pinjol) and online gambling (judol) among Gen Z through a video podcast entitled Abuse of Pinjol and Judol in Building a Business in the Generation Z Era. These two elements play a role in strengthening message delivery, building audience emotional engagement, and increasing understanding of the importance of avoiding the practice of pinjol and titelol and directing Generation Z to more productive activities. The author as an editor uses sound design as a way to convey the narration of the resource person to the audience. Meanwhile, the application of shot size variations, such as medium shot, medium wide shot, and medium close-up, is used to strengthen the visual narrative that supports the delivery process and the meaning of the information conveyed by the speakers. Each type of shot size is selected based on the needs of visual communication in order to be able to display expressions, gestures, and context effectively. In addition, the combination of using shot size variations and applying the right sound design contributes to increasing the depth of meaning of the message conveyed, while building the audience's emotional engagement with the topics discussed in the podcast video. In the end, the podcast video on the Abuse of Pinjol and Judol in Building a Business in the Gen Z Era not only serves as a medium of information and education regarding efforts to prevent online lending practices (pinjol) and online gambling (judol), but also acts as an effective means of social communication. Through the presentation of messages supported by audiovisual elements, this video podcast is expected to be able to increase public awareness, especially Gen Z.
