Abstract

Di tengah perkembangan media digital, banyak media online masih belum menerapkan prinsip jurnalisme sensitif gender. Akibatnya, pemberitaan yang melibatkan perempuan sering kali bias, memperkuat stereotip, dan bahkan mengeksploitasi tubuh serta peran perempuan. Media turut membentuk standar kecantikan yang tidak realistis, seperti kulit putih dan tubuh langsing, yang membuat banyak perempuan merasa tidak percaya diri. Untuk itu, Media digital saat ini memiliki peran besar dalam mengkonstruksikan penampilan perempuan dan membentuk cara pandang masyarakat terhadap isu-isu sosial, termasuk isu gender. Sayangnya, masih banyak media yang memuat konten bias gender, memperkuat stereotip, dan bahkan mengeksploitasi perempuan dalam pemberitaannya. Hal ini menjadi latar belakang penciptaan website Luvmelove.com yang fokus pada isu self-love dan pemberdayaan perempuan dengan menerapkan prinsip jurnalisme sensitif gender. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan bagaimana jurnalisme sensitif gender diterapkan dalam proses penulisan artikel di Luvmelove.com. Konsep jurnalisme sensitif gender sendiri menekankan pentingnya keberpihakan terhadap perempuan, penggunaan diksi yang adil, serta penyajian informasi yang tidak diskriminatif. Dalam proses penciptaan karya, penulis terlibat langsung dalam penulisan berbagai artikel yang terbagi dalam beberapa sub-rubrik seperti Beauty, Mental Health, Empowerment, Relationship, dan News, serta pada rubrik Info-Bliss. Hasilnya, artikel-artikel yang ditulis mampu menghadirkan informasi yang tidak hanya informatif dan inspiratif, tetapi juga mencerminkan nilai-nilai kesetaraan dan empati terhadap pengalaman perempuan. Proses penulisan dilakukan dengan mempertimbangkan sudut pandang perempuan, menjaga privasi narasumber, serta menghindari stereotip dan bahasa yang menyinggung. Kesimpulannya, Luvmelove.com menjadi ruang digital yang aman dan inklusif bagi perempuan, serta mampu menjadi contoh praktik jurnalisme sensitif gender yang tidak hanya menyuarakan informatif, tetapi juga berpihak pada perempuan dan mendorong pemberdayaan diri melalui narasi yang mendukung self-love. As a result, news involving women often contains bias, reinforces stereotypes, and even exploits women’s bodies and roles. The media also contributes to the construction of unrealistic beauty standards, such as fair skin and slim bodies, which causes many women to feel insecure. Digital media today plays a major role in shaping the image of women and influencing public perspectives on social issues, including gender. Unfortunately, much of the content published is still gender-biased, reinforcing harmful stereotypes and misrepresentations of women. This situation became the basis for the creation of Luvmelove.com, a website that focuses on self-love and women's empowerment by implementing gender-sensitive journalism. This research aims to explain how gender-sensitive journalism is applied in the article writing process at Luvmelove.com. The concept of gender-sensitive journalism emphasizes the importance of representing women fairly, using inclusive language, and presenting non-discriminatory information. In this creative project, the author was directly involved in writing various articles across several sub-rubrics such as Beauty, Mental Health, Empowerment, Relationship, and News, as well as in the Info-Bliss section. The result is a series of articles that are not only informative and inspiring but also reflect the values of equality and empathy for women’s experiences. The writing process considers the female perspective, respects the privacy of sources, and avoids stereotypes and offensive language. In conclusion, Luvmelove.com serves as a safe and inclusive digital space for women and stands as a model of gender-sensitive journalism that not only informs but also advocates for women and promotes self-love through empowering narratives.
