Abstract

Penyusunan tesis sebagai salah satu upaya mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai budaya Jaran Kepang Dor dengan pendidikan agama Kristen melalui desain kurikulum berpusat pada peserta didik pendidikan agama Kritsen di lingkungan Sekolah Dasar Kristen Elim Malang, Jawa Timur. Budaya Jaran Kepang Dor merupakan budaya lokal yang berasal dari daerah Malang, Jawa Timur, mengandung nilai-nilai kebaikan yang berguna dalam kehidupan manusia. Nilai-nilai tersebut seperti rela berkorban, solidaritas, gotong-royong, kebersamaan, saling mengasihi dan menghormati yang dapat digabungkan atau disatukan dengan nilai-nilai pendidikan agama Kristen dalam hal sikap. Dalam penelitian ini, peneliti menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan etnografi. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Adapun informan dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari 11 orang, antara lain: 3 orang tokoh budaya Jaran Kepang Dor, 1 orang kepala sekolah, 2 orang guru mata pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Kristen, dan 5 orang peserta didik SD Kristen Elim. Dari hasil penelitian ini, peneliti menyimpulkan bahwa kurikulum dan materi pendidikan agama Kristen di SD Kristen Elim belum terintegrasi dengan nilai-nilai budaya Jaran Kepang Dor. Selain itu, para guru PAK dan murid belum memahami jika budaya Jaran Kepang Dor memiliki nilai-nilai kebaikan, serta adanya paradigma bahwa budaya Jaran Kepang Dor tidak sesuai dengan ajaran Kristen sehingga pendidikan agama Kristen belum terbuka sepenuhnya akan budaya tersebut. Oleh sebab itu, upaya mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai budaya Jaran Kepang Dor dengan pendidikan agama Kristen dapat dilakukan dengan mendesain kurikulum Sekolah Dasar pendidikan agama Kristen dan Kebudayaan di Sekolah Dasar Kristen Elim Malang, Jawa Timur sebagai hasil dan kesimpulan. Kata Kunci: Desain Kurikulum Berpusat Pada Peserta Didik, Pendidikan Agama Kristen jenjang SD, Integrasi Nilai-Nilai Budaya, Budaya Jaran Kepang./The preparation of this thesis is an effort to integrate the cultural values of Jaran Kepang Dor with Christian religious education through a learner-centered curriculum design for Christian religious education at Elim Christian Elementary School in Malang, East Java. Jaran Kepang Dor culture is a local culture originating from Malang, East Java, containing good values that are useful in human life. These values such as self-sacrifice, solidarity,mutual cooperation, togetherness, mutual love and respect can be combined or united with the values of Christian religious education in terms of attitude. In this study, researchers used qualitative research methods with an ethnographic approach. The data collection techniques used were interviews, observation and documentation. The informants in this study consisted of 11 people, including: 3 cultural figures of Jaran Kepang Dor, 1 principal, 2 teachers of Christian Religious Education subjects, and 5 students of Elim Christian Elementary School. From the results of this study, the researcher concluded that the curriculum and materials of Christian religious education at Elim Christian Elementary School have not been integrated with the cultural values of Jaran Kepang Dor. In addition, PAK teachers and students do not understand if Jaran Kepang Dor culture has good values, and there is a paradigm that Jaran Kepang Dor culture is not inaccordance with Christian teachings so that Christian religious education is not fully open to the culture. Therefore, the effort to integrate Jaran Kepang Dor cultural values with Christian religious education can be done by designing the curriculum of Christian religious education elementary school and culture at Elim Christian Elementary School in Malang, East Java as a result and conclusion.
