Abstract

Video feature berjudul “Cahaya Masa Depan di Balik SLB C Dian Grahita” merupakan sebuah karya yang dibuat untuk menceritakan kehidupan anak berkebutuhan khusus, khususnya para penyandang tunagrahita, yang mereka meskipun memiliki keterbatasan, mereka tetap memiliki potensi, bakat, dan mampu meraih berbagai prestasi. Karya ini juga mengangkat kisah bagaimana perjuangan anak-anak berkebutuhan khusus serta perjuangan orang-orang terdekat mereka dalam mendampingi tumbuh kembang mereka. Dalam proses pembuatan video feature human interest ini, sebagai penulis naskah harus mampu menciptakan suatu alur dan naskah yang dapat memberikan emosi kepada penonton. Melalui struktur teknik tensi dramatik yang penulis gunakan dalam pembuatan alur dan naskah pada karya ini, membantu penulis menyusun alur sesuai tahapan-tahapan mulai dari eksposisi, rising action, climax, falling action, hingga resolusi, sehingga mampu menciptakan emosi yang bertahap. Dengan itu, pada video ini menyoroti suasana dan tujuan SLB C Dian Grahita, prestasi murid-murid SLB C Dian Grahita, stigma negatif masyarakat, kesulitan dan tantangan orang tua dan guru, serta kesempatan bekerja untuk penyandang disabilitas down syndrome melalui Cafe Kopi Kamu. Video ini bertujuan untuk mengurangi serta mengubah pandangan negatif masyarakat terhadap anak-anak berkebutuhan khusus serta memberitahukan bahwa dengan adanya pendidikan, pelatihan, kesempatan, dan dorongan, mereka mampu berkembang dan berkarya di tengah masyarakat. / The feature video titled “The Light of the Future Behind SLB C Dian Grahita” is a work created to tell the story of the lives of children with special needs, especially those with intellectual disabilities, who, despite their limitations, still have potential, talent, and are able to achieve various achievements. This work also tells the story of how children with special needs struggle and the struggles of those closest to them in accompanying their growth and development. In the process of making this human interest feature video, as a scriptwriter, you must be able to create a plot and script that can provide emotions to the audience. Through the structure of the dramatic tension technique that the author uses in making the plot and script in this work, it helps the author to arrange the plot according to the stages starting from exposition, rising action, climax, falling action, to resolution, so as to create gradual emotions. With that, this video highlights the atmosphere and goals of SLB C Dian Grahita, the achievements of SLB C Dian Grahita students, the negative stigma of society, the difficulties and challenges of parents and teachers, and job opportunities for people with Down syndrome disabilities through Cafe Kopi Kamu. This video aims to reduce and change society's negative views of children with special needs and to inform them that with education, training, opportunities and encouragement, they are able to develop and work in society.
