Abstract

Banjir merupakan permasalahan kompleks di wilayah Jakarta. Permasalahan banjir belum sepenuhnya dapat teratasi oleh pemerintah mengingat banyak faktor - faktor yang menjadi penyebab banjir. Salah satu faktor penyebab banjir yaitu kurangnya upaya pemeliharaan terhadap kali atau sungai di wilayah Jakarta. Fenomena banjir ini dirasakan oleh dua wilayah antara Karet Tengsin dan Bendungan Hilir. Dua wilayah ini merupakan wilayah terdampak banjir karena luapan dari Kali Krukut. Namun ada perbedaan dalam penanganan banjir yang dilakukan oleh pemerintah. Perbedaan terlihat dari antara wilayah Karet Tengsin (yang sudah dikeruk) dengan Bendungan Hilir (belum dikeruk). Berdasarkan fenomena tersebut, penulis naskah menerapkan gaya ekspositori ke dalam penulisan naskah karya dokumenter berjudul Kali Krukut: Dua Cerita dalam Satu Aliran. Pada penciptaan video tersebut akan menggunakan gaya penulisan ekspositori yang didukung dengan narasi voice over untuk menyampaikan pesan dari video dokumenter dan menggunakan rekaman suara asli dari wawancara narasumber. Melalui gaya ekspositori setiap narasi disusun untuk membantu penonton memahami perbedaan pengerukan antara wilayah Karet Tengsin dan Bendungan Hilir. Penonton tidak hanya melihat perbandingan wilayah yang belum dikeruk dengan yang sudah dikeruk, tetapi juga melihat penyebab dan dampak dari upaya pengerukan tersebut bagi kedua wilayah. Kata Kunci: Ekspositori, Penulis naskah, Dokumenter/ Flooding is a complex problem in the Jakarta area. The flood problem has not been fully resolved by the government considering that there are many factors that cause flooding. One of the factors causing flooding is the lack of maintenance efforts on rivers in the Jakarta area. This flood phenomenon is felt by two areas between Karet Tengsin and Bendungan Hilir. These two areas are areas affected by flooding due to the overflow of the Krukut River. However, there are differences in the handling of flooding by the government. The difference can be seen between Karet Tengsin (which has been dredged) and Bendungan Hilir (not dredged). Based on this phenomenon, the scriptwriter applies an expository style to the writing of a documentary script entitled Kali Krukut: Two Stories in One Stream. In the creation of the video, the scriptwriter will use an expository writing style supported by voice over narration to convey the message of the documentary video and use original voice recordings from the interviewees. Through the expository style, each narration is structured to help the audience understand the difference of dredging between Karet Tengsin and Bendungan Hilir areas. The audience not only sees a comparison of the areas that have not been dredged with those that have been dredged, but also sees the causes and impacts of the dredging efforts for both areas.
