Abstract
Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis remaja sub urban melihat fenomena Citayam Fashion Week ini sebagai fenomena baru dan melihat bagaimana mereka menegosiasikan identitas mereka melalui fashion. Fenomena Citayam Fashion Week ini dilihat oleh remaja sub urban sebagai wadah untuk mereka mengekspresikan diri mereka dalam bidang fashion. dalam wawancana menurut narasumber fashion juga dapat dilihat sebagai identitas karena fashion sendiri dapat mengenalkan individunya, seperti melihat fashion seperti ini dari kalangan sosial ekonomi kelas atas menengah ataupun bawah. Narasumber yang dipilih peneliti merupakan kalangan ekonomi kelas bawah dan berdomisili diluar Jakarta lalu dilakukan wawancara per individu. Kesimpulan yang diambil dari rumusan masalah yang ada adalah remaja pinggiran kota memandang Citayam Fashion Week sebagai fenomena baru karena memberikan mereka peluang dan wadah, serta mereka melihatnya sebagai peluang untuk meningkatkan taraf hidup. Banyaknya lirikan dari berbagai kalangan ekonomi sosial, mulai dari artis, influencer, hingga pejabat menjadikan mereka semakin berlomba-lomba untuk eksis dalam Citayam Fashion week ini. Fenomena Citayam Fashion Week ini juga bergerak dibidang Fashion yang dimana para remaja sub urban ini sebagian besar menyukai hal tersebut. Selain fashion sendiri dapat dipakai sehari-hari , fashion juga menjadikan mereka juga bisa dipandang lebih baik, karena setiap individu memiliki harga diri dan berhak mendapatkan kesempatan yang sama. Kesimpulan dari hasil wawancara dengan narasumber karena ada nya harga diri yang harus diperjuangkan, sehingga tidak dianggap remeh oleh orang lain. / This study uses a qualitative method. Data were collected through interviews. This study aims to analyze suburban teenagers who see the Citayam Fashion Week phenomenon as a new phenomenon and see how they negotiate their identity through fashion. The Citayam Fashion Week phenomenon is seen by suburban teenagers as a place for them to express themselves in the fashion field. In the interview, according to the informant, fashion can also be seen as an identity because fashion itself can introduce individuals, such as seeing fashion like this from the upper, middle or lower socio-economic classes. The informants chosen by the researcher are from the lower economic class and domiciled outside Jakarta, then interviews were conducted per individual. The conclusion drawn from the formulation of the existing problem is that suburban teenagers view Citayam Fashion Week as a new phenomenon because it gives them opportunities and a place, and they see it as an opportunity to improve their standard of living. The many glances from various socio-economic circles, ranging from artists, influencers, to officials, make them increasingly compete to exist in this Citayam Fashion Week. The Citayam Fashion Week phenomenon is also engaged in the Fashion sector, where most of these suburban teenagers like it. In addition to fashion itself can be worn everyday, fashion also makes them can be seen better, because every individual has self-esteem and deserves the same opportunity The conclusion from the results of the interview with the source is that there is self-esteem that must be fought for, so that it is not underestimated by other people.
