Abstract

Tujuan penulisan tesis ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana pendidikan karakter dan pembenukan moral bagi remaja dan bagaimana Peran Gereja melalui PAK remaja serta untuk mengetahui bagaimana tindakan preventif praktik cyberbullying di jemaat GMIM Kuranga. Dan Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan pengetahuan bagaimana Pendidikan Karakter dan moral dapat mencegah upaya praktik cyberbullying, dalam penelitian ini penulis akan menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data wawancara dan observasi serta studi kepustakaan. Adapun informan dari penelitian ini terdiri dari 15 orang, yaitu 3 orang pendeta, 1 orang orientator, 7 orang pelsus dan pembina remaja, 4 orang remaja di gereja GMIM kuranga. Dari hasil penelitian ini, peneliti menemukan kurangnya kerjasama atau dukungan dari beberapa orangtua dalam penanaman pendidikan karakter bagi remaja dan masih kurang kegiatan-kegiatan yang dilakukan pembina remaja untuk menumbuhkan karakter baik pada remaja, sehingga peneliti menyarankan dalam mengimplementasikan Pendidikan karakter sebaiknya menggunakan metode khusus yang tepat agar tujuan pendidikan tercapai. Kata kunci : PAK, Pendidikan Karakter, Cyberbullying. / The purpose of writing this thesis isto find out how to character education and moral formation for teenagers and how the role of the Church in youth PAK and to find out how to prevent cyberbullying practices in the GMIM Lessa congregation. And this research is expected to provide knowledge on how character and moral education can prevent cyberbullying practices, in this study the author will use qualitative research methods with interview and observation data collection techniques as well as literature study. The informants of this study consisted of 14 people, namely 3 pastors, 1 orientator, 6 pelsus and youth coaches, 4 teenagers at the GMIM lessa church. From the results of this study, researchers found a lack of cooperation orsupport from some parents in planting character education for adolescents and there were still a lack of activities carried out by youth coaches to foster good character in adolescents, so the researchers suggested that in implementing character education it was better to use the right special method. to achieve educational goals.
