Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan hasil belajar matematika yang menggunakan metode Problem Solving dan metode ekspositori. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMA Negeri 80 Jakarta pada saat peneliti melakukan PKM di sekolah. Peneliti mengambil dua sampel siswa IPA kelas X untuk melihat perbedaan hasil belajar dengan menggunakan dua metode yang berbeda. Peneliti melakukan uji normalitas dengan uji chi-square dan homogenitas dengan uji Levene dengan program perhitungan SPSS. Kedua kelas yang dievaluasi berdistribusi normal dan homogen, sehingga uji hipotesis yang dilakukan oleh peneliti selanjutnya adalah uji-t untuk melihat apakah ada perbedaan hasil matematis yang signifikan antara metode pembelajaran pemecahan masalah dan metode pembelajaran ekspositori. Hasil belajar siswa yang tidak signifikan dapat terjadi jika metode yang digunakan tidak sesuai dengan situasi, kondisi dan langkah – langkah yang tidak sesuai baik pada metode pembelajaran Problem Solving dan metode pembelajaran ekspositori. Kata kunci: Hasil Belajar, metode Pembelajaran Problem Solving, metode Pembelajaran Ekspositori dalam pembelajaran berbasis online, materi Sistem Persamaan Linear Tiga Variabel / This study aims to determine the differences in learning outcomes of mathematics using Problem Solving methods and expository methods. This research was conducted at SMA Negeri 80 Jakarta at the time the researcher was conducting PKM at school. The researcher took two samples of class X science to see the difference in learning outcomes using two different methods. The researcher conducted a normality test with the chi-square test and homogeneity with the Levene test with the SPSS calculation program. The two classes evaluated were normally distributed and homogeneous, so that the hypothesis test carried out by the next researcher was a t-test to see if there was a significant difference in mathematical results between the Problem Solving learning method and the expository learning method. Insignificant student learning outcomes can occur if the method used is not in accordance with the situation, conditions and steps that are not appropriate both in the Problem Solving learning method and the expository learning method.
