Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan penerapan pembelajaran terdiferensiasi berdasarkan gaya belajar siswa di SDN Rawa Bunga 12. Pembelajaran terdiferensiasi merupakan pendekatan yang menyesuaikan konten, proses, produk, dan lingkungan belajar dengan kebutuhan siswa. Gaya belajar yang dijadikan acuan dalam penelitian ini adalah model VARK yang dikembangkan oleh Fleming yaitu Visual, Auditori, Read/Write, dan Kinestetik. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari tujuh guru kelas yaitu II A-B, III A-B, IV B-C, dan VB. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan pembelajaran terdiferensiasi oleh guru masih bersifat terbatas dan belum sepenuhnya berbasis profil gaya belajar siswa. Sebagian guru mulai menyesuaikan materi dan metode sesuai karakteristik siswa, namun pelaksanaannya belum konsisten dan terstruktur dalam RPP, serta hanya difokuskan pada tingkat kemampuan akademik siswa. Identifikasi gaya belajar siswa hanya dilakukan melalui observasi dan informasi yang diperoleh dari orang tua, tanpa menggunakan instrumen yang valid. Kendala utama yang dihadapi guru dalam penerapan pembelajaran terdiferensiasi adalah keterbatasan waktu, kurangnya pelatihan, dukungan sarana yang memadai untuk gaya belajar kinestetik, dan pemahaman yang belum mendalam terhadap konsep diferensiasi dan profil gaya belajar siswa. Saran dari penelitian ini yaitu perlunya pelatihan intensif dan berkelanjutan bagi guru mengenai strategi penerapan pembelajaran terdiferensiasi berbasis profil gaya belajar, memberikan dukungan dalam penyediaan instrumen identifikasi gaya belajar yang praktis dan valid untuk merancang RPP yang terdiferensiasi berbasis profil gaya belajar, serta dukungan sekolah juga penting dalam mendorong fleksibilitas pembelajaran untuk mengoptimalkan potensi belajar siswa / This study aims to describe the application of differentiated learning based on students’ learning styles at SDN Rawa Bunga 12. Differentiated learning is an approach that adapts content, processes, products, and learning environments to students’ needs. The learning style used as a reference in this study are the VARK model developed by Fleming, namely Visual, Auditory, Read/Write, and Kinesthetic. This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques are carried out through interviews, observations, and documentation. The research subjects consisted of seven class teachers, namely II A-B, III AB, IV B-C, dan VB. The results of the study indicate that the application of differentiated learning by teachers is still limited and not fully based on the student learning styles profiles. Some teachers have begun to adjust materials and methods according to student characteristics, but the implementation is not consistent and structured in the the lesson plan, and only focuses on the levels of student academic ability. Identification of student learning styles is only done through observation and information obtained from parents, without using valid instruments. The main obstacles faced by teachers in implementing differentiated learning are limited time, lack of training, adequate support facilities for kinesthetic learning styles, and an in-depth understanding of the concept of differentiation and student learning profiles. This study recommends the need for intensive and ongoing training for teachers on strategies for implementing differentiated learning based on learning styles profiles, providing support in the from of practical and valid learning style identification instruments for designing differentiated lesson plans based on learning styles profiles, and ensuring school support in encouraging learning flexibility to optimize students learning potential.
