Abstract
"Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memahami persepsi siswa kelas XI MIPA di SMA Negeri 39 Jakarta terhadap (PTMT) dalam pelajaran Kimia pada era new normal. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah survei dengan pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner dan dianalisis menggunakan teknik deskriptif kuantitatif dengan persentase. Populasi dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari seluruh siswa kelas XI MIPA SMA Negeri 39 Jakarta yang berjumlah 252 siswa. Sampel diambil menggunakan teknik Proporsional Random Sampling, dengan 25% dari populasi, sehingga diperoleh 63 siswa kemudian dibagikan secara langsung oleh peneliti melalui google from. Instrumen penelitian telah divalidasi oleh validator dan dinyatakan layak berdasarkan validasi konstruk. Berdasarkan penelitian ini dapat di nyatakan bahwa ketiga indikator pada penelitian masing-masing bernilai sebagai berikut: 1). Indikator penyerapan mendapatkan presentase sebesar (38,10%) sebanyak 24 siswa pada kategori “positif” dengan interval dan presentase sebesar (19,05%) sebanyak 12 siswa pada kategori “negatif”; 2). Indikator pengertian atau pemahaman mendapatkan presentase sebesar (28,60%) sebanyak 18 siswa pada kategori “positif” dengan interval dan presentase sebesar (19%) sebanyak 12 siswa pada kategori “negatif”; 3). Indikator penilaian atau evaluasi mendapatkan presentase sebesar (20,63%) sebanyak 13 siswa pada kategori “positif” dengan interval dan presentase sebesar (17,62%) sebanyak 11 siswa pada kategori “negatif”. Sehingga jumlah rata-rata dari ketiga indikator 64,10% dengan kategori ‘sedang’. disimpulkan bahwa persepsi siswa terhadap pembelajaran tatap muka (PTMT) pada mata pelajaran kimia di era new normal pandemi COVID-19 cukup baik untuk diterapkan di sekolah. Walaupun masih terkendala oleh ketidaksiapan siswa dalam menghadapi sistem pembelajaran tatap muka terbatas karena peralihan dari sistem belajar di rumah (online) ke pembelajaran tatap muka terbatas di sekolah dengan teman-teman dan guru di kelas dirasakan sebagai suatu tantangan. Seperti pembelajaran dilaksanakan dengan kondisi yang terbatas, seperti jarak duduk yang ditentukan, interaksi yang terbatas, dan materi yang disampaikan oleh guru secara padat. / This study aims to understand the perceptions of 11th-grade MIPA students at SMA Negeri 39 Jakarta regarding limited face-to-face learning (PTMT) in Chemistry lessons during the new normal era. The research employed a survey method with a quantitative descriptive approach. Data were collected using a questionnaire and analyzed using quantitative descriptive techniques with percentages. The population of this study consisted of all 252 11th-grade MIPA students at SMA Negeri 39 Jakarta. The sample was selected using proportional random sampling, with 25% of the population resulting in 63 students. The questionnaire was distributed directly by the researcher via Google Forms. The research instrument was validated by experts and deemed feasible based on construct validation. The findings of the study indicate that the three indicators in the research scored as follows: The absorption indicator received a percentage of 38.10%, with 24 students in the "positive" category and 19.05% (12 students) in the "negative" category: 1) The understanding indicator received a percentage of 28.60%, with 18 students in the "positive" category and 19% (12 students) in the "negative" category; 2) The evaluation indicator received a percentage of 20.63%, with 13 students in the "positive" category and 17.62% (11 students) in the "negative" category; 3) The average score across the three indicators was 64.10%, categorized as "moderate." It was concluded that students' perceptions of PTMT in Chemistry lessons during the new normal era of the COVID-19 pandemic were quite positive for implementation in schools. However, challenges were identified, particularly students' lack of preparedness in transitioning from online learning at home to limited face-to-face learning at school. This transition posed challenges due to constraints such as predetermined seating distances, limited interaction, and densely delivered material by teachers."
