Abstract

Desain dan pengembangan media microsite pada materi bioteknologi dilakukan sebagai upaya untuk mengatasi rendahnya pemahaman siswa pada materi bioteknologi. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk membantu siswa memahami materi bioteknologi dengan proses pembelajaran daring yang menyenangkan. Selanjutnya, untuk mendeskripsikan microsite bioteknologi yang sudah dibuat termasuk validasi dan persepsi siswa terhadap media tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pengembangan dengan model 4-D. Microsite biotekologi yang dikembangkan diuji validitasnya oleh tiga validator dengan rumus aiken dan respon siswa yang dianalis sesuai kategori dengan link sebagi berikut https://s.id/BioteknologiKelasIX. Hasil validasi ahli menyatakan microsite bioteknologi sangat layak digunakan sebagi media pembelajaran dengan persentase 91%, dan memperoleh kategori tinggi dengan terbilang 0.89 dengan aiken. Selanjutnya, siswa memberikan respon positif terhadap microsite bioteknologi dengan perolehan skor 82%. Hadirnya microsite bioteknologi diharapkan dapat menjadi suatu media pembelajaran yang dapat meningkatkan pemahaman siswa terhadap materi bioteknologi. Kata Kunci: Microsite bioteknologi, persepsi siswa, validasi. / The design and development of microsite media for biotechnology material was carried out in an effort to overcome the low understanding of students about biotechnology material. The purpose of this research is to help students understand biotechnology material through a fun online learning process. Furthermore, to describe the biotechnology microsite that has been made, including validation and student perceptions of the media, this research uses the development method with a 4-D model. The developed biotechnology microsite was tested for validity by three validators using the Aiken formula, and student responses were analyzed according to the category using the following link: https://s.id/BioteknologiKelasIX. The results of expert validation stated that the biotechnology microsite was very feasible to use as a learning medium, with a percentage of 91%, and obtained a high category with a fairly high 0.89 with Aiken. Furthermore, students gave a positive response to the biotechnology microsite with a score of 82%. The presence of biotechnology microsites is expected to be a learning medium that can improve students' understanding of biotechnology material.
