Abstract

Ketetapan pemilihan suatu model pembelajaran bergantung pada tujuan pembelajaran, kesesuaian dengan materi pembelajaran, tingkat perkembangan peserta didik, kemampuan pendidik dalam mengelola pembelajaran dan mengoptimalkan sumber- sumber belajar yang ada. Dengan memvariasikan pembelajaran, peserta didik akan lebih tertarik dan senang dalam mengikuti pelajaran.Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian kuantitatif. Dalam penelitian kuantitatif pendekatan yang digunakan adalah pendekatan empirisme positivisme yang dimana fakta – fakta dapat dibuktikan atau di uji secara empiris. Pendekatan kuantitatif merupakan metode penelitian yang menjelaskan bahwa suatu fenomena yang dapat dijelaskan dengan menggunakan data – data numerik dan kemudian dianalisis dengan menggunakan statistik. keseluruhan siswa sebanyak 72 siswa. Kelas VII A digunakan sebagai kelas yang diberikan pembelajaran dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional dan kelas VII B sebagai kelas eksperimen yang diberikan model pembelajaran tipe kooperatif student team achievement division (STAD). Hal ini dapat dilihat dari hasil nilai rata – rata siswa pada kelas eksperimen mencapai 72,19 sedangkan pada kelas kontrol sebesar 43,53. Dengan begitu dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara siswa yang diajarkan dengan menggunakan metode pembelajaran konvensional dan model pembelajaran student team achievement division (STAD) Kata Kunci : Hasil Belajar Metode Eksperimen /The determination of choosing a learning model depends on learning objectives, suitability with learning materials, the level of development of students, the ability of educators to manage learning and optimize existing learning resources. By varying learning, students will be more interested and happy in following the lessons. This research is a type of quantitative research. In quantitative research the approach used is a positivism empiricism approach in which facts can be proven or tested empirically. The quantitative approach is a research method that explains that a phenomenon can be explained using numerical data and then analyzed using statistics. a total of 72 students. Class VII A is used as a class that is given learning using conventional learning models and class VII B is used as an experimental class that is given a student team achievement division (STAD) cooperative type learning model. This can be seen from the results of the average score of students in the experimental class reaching 72.19 while in the control class it is 43.53. In this way it can be concluded that there is a significant difference between students who are taught using conventional learning methods and the student team achievement division
