Abstract

Sumber belajar dalam mempelajari bangun ruang sisi datar secara verbalistik mengakibatkan peserta didik kesulitan dalam memahami konsep objek tiga dimensi. Peserta didik menangkap dan menganalisa informasi dengan cara yang berbeda, yang dikenal dengan istilah gaya belajar. Maka dari itu, dibutuhkan media belajar yang dilengkapi fitur-fitur yang berorientasi pada gaya belajar peserta didik. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan e-module bangun ruang sisi datar yang valid dan layak berorientasi pada kebutuhan gaya belajar peserta didik SMP kelas VIII. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian dan pengembangan (R&D) yang dibatasi pada tingkat satu, yaitu meneliti, tetapi tidak menguji. Model yang mendukung pada tingkatan penelitian ini adalah Richey dan Klein. Melalui hasil penelitian ini dengan memvalidasi produk oleh pakar validator materi dan media, semua elemen pada perancangan e-module ini dikategorikan sangat layak. Jadi, pengembangan e-module materi bangun ruang sisi datar dihasilkan valid dan sangat layak berorientasi pada kebutuhan gaya belajar peserta didik SMP kelas VIII. Hal tersebut diidentifikasi bahwa e-module terdapat fitur-fitur yang mendukung tipikal gaya belajar visual, auditorial, dan kinestetik. Dengan demikian, e-module ini dapat menjadi sumber belajar alternatif dalam pembelajaran. / The learning resources for studying flat surfaces of three-dimensional shapes in verbalistic manner results in students having difficulties in understanding the concept of three-dimensional objects. Students perceive and analyze information differently, known as learning style. Therefore, learning media equipped with features are needed to maximize students’ learning style. The aim of this research is to develop a valid and suitable e-module on flat-sided three-dimensional shapes oriented towards the learning styles of 8th grade junior high school students. The research conducted is a research and development (R&D) study, specifically focusing on the research without testing in field. The model that supports this level of research is Richey and Klein’s model. Through the results of this study, with the validation of the product by subject matter and media experts, all elements of this e-module design are categorized as highly feasible. So, the development of the e-module on the topic flat-sided three-dimensional shapes resulted in a valid and highly suitable orientation towards the learning styles of 8th grade junior high school students. It has been identified that e-module contains features that support the typical learning style of visuals, auditory, and kinesthetic. Therefore, this e-module can serve as an alternative learning resource in the teaching and learning process.
