Abstract
Dalam penelitian ini memiliki fokus penerapan manajemen krisis diterapkan dan dilakukan public relations PT. Aetra Air Jakarta dalam menghadapi krisis yang dapat berdampak pada citra perusahaan. Dalam penyebaran suplai air, sering terjadi hambatan seperti debit air yang berkurang saat sampai ke masyarakat pengguna layanan, hal ini disebabkan oleh terjadinya pencurian air yang disebabkan oknum tidak bertanggung jawab serta rendahnya pengetahuan masyarakat akan hal itu. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui penerapan konsep manajemen krisis yang digunakan oleh public relations PT. Aetra Air Jakarta saat menghadapi krisis baik yang sedang atau akan terjadi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif yang mengangkat tema mengenai fenomena krisis yang disebabkan oleh kebocoran pipa air dan penanganannya. Lalu sebagai alat pengumpulan data penelitian ini menggunakan metode wawancara mendalam (in-depth interview). Informan ditentukan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling, yaitu Public Relations Supervisor, External Relatons Officer, Correspondence and Media social Officer, Corporate Communication Manager, dan lead of Customer Communication di PT. Aetra Air Jakarta sebagai objek penelitian. Dan berdasarkan data yang telah dikaji bahwa penerapan konsep manajemen krisis yang dilakukan yaitu dengan menyiapkan berbagai langkah-langkah untuk menyelesaikan krisis yang akan terjadi kedepannya. Sehingga dalam menyelesaikan krisis yang akan terjadi, public relations PT. Aetra Air Jakarta mampu menyiapkan langkah-langkah efektif dalam menanggapi krisis yang sedang atau akan terjadi. Kata Kunci: Manajemen Krisis, Public Relations, Kebocoran Air, Pencurian Air./ This study focused on the application of Crisis Management by the public relations in PT. Aetra Air Jakarta to deal with the crisis that would affect the corporate’s image. During the pipeline supply deployment, the obstacle often occured such as the reduced of water flow while it reach the customer, this is due to the occurrence of water theft by the irresponsible persons and the low level of public knowledge about it. The purpose of this study is to figure out the concept method of crisis management that used by the public relations of PT. Aetra Air jakarta while facing the current nor upcoming crisis. This study also uses the qualitative descriptive approach with the theme such phenomenon of water leak and the treatment itself. As a data collection tool, this study uses in-depth interviews. The informants were determined by the purposive sampling technique which are the Public Relations Supervisor, External Relatons Officer, Correspondence and Media social Officer, Corporate Communication Manager, dan lead of Customer Communication in PT. Aetra Air Jakarta as the object of this research. Based on the data that have been reviewed it shows the application of crisis management method have been done very well with the preparation of many kind of steps to resolve the upcoming crisis. Therefore in the time of crisis, the public relations of PT. Aetra Air Jakarta have such various efective steps to resolve the ongoing nor upcoming crisis.
