Abstract

ABSTRAK Tuberkulosis masih menjadi krisis kesehatan global. Indonesia merupakan salah satu dari delapan besar negara dengan prevalensi tuberkulosis tertinggi. Status gizi yang rendah memengaruhi prevalensi tuberkulosis paru dan memperlambat waktu pemulihan. Sejauh mana kebutuhan gizi seseorang terpenuhi adalah ukuran status gizi mereka. Seseorang yang dianggap kurang gizi akan memiliki sistem kekebalan tubuh yang terganggu yang mana bisa menyebabkan terjadinya tuberkulosis. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pengukuran indeks massa tubuh dan food recall 24 jam untuk menganalisa status gizi penderita TB di daerah kerja puskesmas Seputih Raman, Lampung Tengah tahun 2021. Hasil yang didapat dari penelitian ini bahwa status gizi penderita TB mendapatkan status gizi yang kurus (60%) dan asupan energi yang dikonsumsi perhari oleh penderita TB paru tergolong defisit (80%) mengikuti konsumsi protein yang sama yaitu defisit (46,67%). Dari hasi penelitian yang didapatkan bahwa status gizi penderita TB paru di daerah kerja Puskesmas Seputih Raman adalah kurus dengan asupan energi dan protein yang defisit. Kata kunci : Tuberkulosis, Malnutrisi, Status gizi./ ABSTRACT Tuberculosis is still a global health crisis. Indonesia is the top eight countries with the highest prevalence of tuberculosis. Low nutritional status affects the prevalence of pulmonary tuberculosis and slows recovery time. The extent to which a person's nutritional needs are met is a measure of their nutritional status. A person who is considered malnourished will have a compromised immune system which can lead to tuberculosis. This study uses the method of measuring body mass index and 24-hour food recall to analys the nutritional status of TB patients in the work area of the Seputih Raman Health Center, Central Lampung in 2021. The results obtained from this study are that the nutritional status of TB patients is underweight (60%) ) and energy intake consumed per day by pulmonary TB patients is classified as a deficit (80%) following the same protein consumption, which is a deficit (46.67%). From the results of the study, it was found that the nutritional status of pulmonary TB patients in the working area of the Seputih Raman Health Center was thin with a deficit of energy and protein intake.
