Abstract

Sekitar 80-100% populasi dunia pasti pernah mengalami akne vulgaris. Akne vulgaris adalah penyakit peradangan kronik folikel polisebasea dengan gambaran klinis papul, pustul, komedo, nodul dan kista yang dapat sembuh sendiri namun sering meninggalkan bekas luka. Banyak faktor yang mempengaruhi kejadian akne vulgaris, salah satunya adalah faktor diet seperti asupan indeks glikemik, susu dan produk olahannya serta makanan berlemak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan konsumsi makanan indeks glikemik tinggi, susu dan produk olahannya serta makanan berlemak dengan kejadian akne vulgaris pada mahasiswa FK UKI angkatan 2019. Jenis penelitian ini adalah analitik deskriptif dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Data diperoleh langsung dari responden yang dihimpun menggunakan kuesioner food recall 2 x 24 jam dan Semi Quantitative – Food Frequency Questionare yang disebarkan secara online. Terdapat 140 data yang terkumpul, namun 9 diantaranya termasuk dalam kriteria eksklusi sehingga hanya 131 data yang dapat digunakan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tidak terdapat hubungan frekuensi (p= 0.746) dan ukuran (p= 0.946) konsumsi makanan indeks glikemik tinggi, frekuensi (p= 0.762) dan ukuran (p= 0.274) konsumsi susu dan produk olahannya serta hubungan frekuensi (p= 0.765) dan ukuran (p= 0.747) konsumsi makanan berlemak dengan kejadian akne vulgaris pada mahasiswa FK UKI angkatan 2019./ About 80-100% of the world's population must have had experienced acne vulgaris. Acne vulgaris is a chronic inflammatory disease of pilosebaceous follicles with clinical features papules, pustules, comedones, nodules and cysts that heal on their own but often leave scars. Many factors may cause acne vulgaris, such as diet, for example high glycaemic index foods, milk and its processed products and fatty foods. This study aims to determine the relationship between consumption of high glycaemic index foods, milk and their processed products as well as fatty foods with the incidence of acne vulgaris among Medical Faculty students Christian University of Indonesia batch 2019. This type of research is descriptive analytic with cross sectional approach. Data were obtained directly from respondents using food recall questionnaire 2 x 24 hours and a Semi Quantitative – Food Frequency Questionnaire which was distributed online. There are 140 data collected, but 9 of them are included in the exclusion criteria, only 131 data can be used. The results showed that there was no correlation between frequency (p= 0.746) and portion (p= 0.946) of high glycaemic index food consumption, frequency (p= 0.762) and portion (p= 0.274) consumption of milk and its processed products as well as frequency relationship (p= 0.765) and portion (p= 0.747) consumption of fatty foods with the incidence of acne vulgaris among Medical Faculty students Christian University of Indonesia batch 2019.
