Abstract

Stunting menggambarkan terjadinya kegagalan pertumbuhan dan perkembangan karena adanya masalah gizi kronis akibat asupan gizi yang kurang dalam waktu yang lama terutama dalam 1000 Hari Pertama Kehidupan (HPK), penyakit infeksi berulang selama kehamilan, penyakit yang diderita setelah bayi lahir, stimulasi psikososial tidak adekuat, dan selalu ditandai dengan tinggi badan bayi menurut usia kurang dari -2SD/standar deviasi. Terjadinya stunting bukan hanya berdampak pada pertumbuhan fisik saja namun juga dapat menyebabkan terganggunya perkembangan otak dan kecerdasan, penurunan fungsi kognitif, penurunan kekebalan tubuh dan gangguan metabolik sehingga meningkatkan risiko terjadinya penyakit diabetes, penyakit jantung dan pembuluh darah, stroke, dan penurunan kualitas kerja. Sehingga terjadinya stunting merupakan suatu ancaman dalam meningkatkan sumber daya manusia yang optimal dan berkualitas. Upaya yang diperlukan untuk mengatasi terjadinya stunting salah satunya melalui intervensi dengan edukasi stunting pada ibu hamil. pemberian edukasi stunting pada ibu hamil merupakan salah satu cara yang dapat digunakan untuk menyebarkan informasi gizi dalam mencegah stunting sejak masa kehamilan. sehingga melalui informasi yang disampaikan dapat menambah pengetahuan yang akan mendukung terbentuknya sikap positif ibu hamil tentang stunting. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendapatkan gambaran pengetahuan dan sikap ibu hamil tentang stunting di Puskesmas Lateri dan Puskesmas Passo Kecamatan Teluk Ambon Baguala Tahun 2022. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode pre-experimental design (one group pre-test post-test), Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan kuesioner sebelum edukasi (pretest) dan sesudah edukasi (posttest). Hasil penelitian ini didapatkan adanya perbedaan pengetahuan dan sikap sebelum dan sesudah diberikan edukasi pada ibu hamil dengan nilai rata-rata pengetahuan pada pretest (15,78) dan saat posttest (18,32) sedangkan nilai rata-rata sikap pada pretest (9,82) dan saat posttest (9,96)./ Stunting describes the occurrence of growth and development failure due to chronic nutritional problems due to inadequate nutritional intake for a long time, especially in the First 1000 Days of Life, recurrent infectious diseases during pregnancy, diseases suffered after the baby is born, inadequate psychosocial stimulation, and always characterized by the infant's height for age less than -2SD/standard deviation. The occurrence of stunting not only affects physical growth but can also cause disruption of brain and intelligence development, decreased cognitive function, decreased immunity and metabolic disorders, thereby increasing the risk of diabetes, heart and blood vessel disease, stroke, and decreased quality of work. That the occurrence of stunting is a threat in increasing optimal and quality human resources. One of the efforts needed to overcome the occurrence of stunting is through interventions regarding stunting in pregnant women. The provision of stunting education to pregnant women is one way that can be used to disseminate nutritional information in preventing stunting since pregnancy. That through the information conveyed it can increase knowledge that will support the formation of positive attitudes of pregnant women about stunting. The purpose of this study was to obtain a description of the knowledge and attitudes of pregnant women about stunting at Puskesmas Lateri and Puskesmas Passo in Teluk Ambon Baguala District. The research method used was the pre-prepared method. experimental design (one group pre-test post-test). Data were collected using a questionnaire before education (pretest) and after education (posttest). The results of this study found that there were differences in knowledge and attitudes before and after being given education to pregnant women with the average value of knowledge at the pretest (15.78) and at the posttest (18.32) while the average value of attitudes at the pretest (9.82 ) and at the posttest (9,96).
