Abstract

Hipertensi merupakan penyakit tidak menular (PTM) yang mendapat predikat sebagai The Silent Killer. Menurut data dari RISKESDAS pada tahun 2018, menunjukkan prevalensi terjadinya hipertensi pada perkotaan lebih tinggi yaitu 34.4% dibandingkan dengan yang di perdesaan yaitu 33,7%, serta terdapat juga data pada kelompok usia ≥18 tahun, yang mencapai angka kejadian sebesar 31,7% penderita. Hipertensi dipengaruhi oleh banyak faktor salah satunya yaitu berkaitan dengan perilaku merokok. Perilaku merokok dapat meningkatkan 15 kali lebih rentan terkena hipertensi. Menurut data dari KEMENKES RI, Indonesia merupakan negara dengan jumlah perokok terbesar ketiga setelah China dan India. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan gejala hipertensi dengan perilaku merokok pada mahasiswa mahasiswi FK UKI angkatan 2017 sampai dengan 2019. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian observasional analitik korelasional dengan desain cross sectional, penelitian ini menggunakan teknik total sampling yaitu jumlah sampel sama dengan populasi sebanyak 462 orang. Penelitian ini menggunakan kuesioner yang berupa google form (G-form) sebagai media untuk mengisi kuesioner. Hasil penelitian ini responden yang termasuk dalam kriteria inklusi penelitian beragam dari 19 – 24 tahun dengan usia yang paling banyak 21 tahun yaitu 47 (47%) responden. Dan dalam penelitian ini responden didominasi oleh laki-laki sebanyak 72 (72%) responden. Adanya hubungan jenis rokok yang digunakan dengan gejala hipertensi berupa gelisah (p=0,002). Lalu, terdapat hubungan lama merokok dengan gejala hipertensi berupa leher terasa kaku (p=0,048) dan mudah merasa lelah (p=0,037). Menurut jumlah rokok yang dikonsumsi pada responden yang menggunakan rokok konvensional, yaitu terdapat hubungan dengan gejala hipertensi berupa gelisah (p=0,007), mudah merasa lelah (p=0,031), dan nokturia (p=0,003). Sementara, menurut jumlah rokok pada responden yang menggunakan rokok elektronik terdapat hubungan dengan gejala hipertensi berupa gelisah (p=0,032). Dapat disimpulkan merokok dapat menimbulkan gejala hipertensi walaupun tidak semua gejala dirasakan. According to data from RISKESDAS in 2018, it shows the prevalence of hypertension in urban areas is 34.4% higher than in rural areas which is 33.7%, and there is also data in the age group ≥18 years, which reaches an incidence rate of 31.7% sufferer. Hypertension is influenced by many factors, one of which is related to smoking behavior. Smoking behavior can increase 15 times more susceptible to hypertension. According to data from the Indonesian Ministry of Health, Indonesia is the country with the third largest number of smokers after China and India. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between hypertension symptoms and smoking behavior in FK UKI students from 2017 to 2019. This research is a correlational analytic observational study with a cross sectional design, this study uses a total sampling technique, namely the number of samples is the same as the population of 462 people. This study uses a questionnaire in the form of a google form (G-form) as a tool for answers the questionnaire. The results of this study were respondents who were included in the research inclusion criteria varied from 19 - 24 years with the most age being 21 years, namely 47 (47%) respondents. And in this study the respondents were dominated by men as many as 72 (72%) respondents. There was a relationship between the type of cigarette used and the symptoms of hypertension in the form of anxiety (p = 0.002). According to the number of cigarettes consumed by respondents who used conventional cigarettes, there was a relationship with symptoms of hypertension in the form of anxiety (p = 0.007), easy to feel tired (p = 0.031), and nocturia (p = 0.003). Meanwhile, according to the number of cigarettes in respondents who use electronic cigarettes there is a relationship with symptoms of hypertension in the form of anxiety (p = 0.032). It can be concluded that smoking can cause symptoms of hypertension, although not all symptoms are felt. Keywords: hypertension, smoking, hypertension symptoms
