Abstract
This paper discusses the thermal comfort for room as a part of comfort principles in architecture design. This research was conducted in Engineering Faculty of Tarumanagara University with measured dry bulb temperature (DBT), wet bulb temperature, and wind velocity. Based on measured data to resulted the effective temperature from diagram of effective temperature and relative humidity from psychometric diagram. The result showed Library Room and Classroom I have comforted condition, meanwhile for Classroom II and Room of Student Secretariat has uncomforted condition. The aim of this research is to describe the role of architecture in building design which should pay attention to the climate and nature condition in order to minimize uncomforted condition.
