Abstract

Haemoglobin glikosilat adalah haemoglobin spesifik terglikasi yang terbentuk akibat adanya penambahan glukosa terhadap asam amino valin N-terminal pada rantai beta- haemoglobin dan merefleksikan rerata glukosa plasma dalam 8-12 minggu terakhir. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat hubungan antara usia dengan kadar HbA1c pada wanita usia 30 – 50 tahun dengan kadar glukosa darah normal. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan correlational cross-sectional dengan teknik pengambilan sampel purposive sampling dan didapatkan sampel berjumlah 34 orang. Kadar HbA1c terbanyak 4,1%, terendah 4,0% dan tertinggi 8,8% dengan jumlah subjek berurutan sebanyak 17,6%, 2,9% dan 2,9%, sehingga didapatkan rata – rata kadar HbA1c sebesar 4,644%. Hasil uji korelasi Spearman Rank didapatkan adanya korelasi yang sangat lemah dan tidak bermakna (r = 0,129, p value = 0,466) > 0,05, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa tidak terdapat korelasi antara pertambahan usia dengan kadar HbA1c pada wanita usia 30 – 50 tahun dengan kadar glukosa darah normal. Kata kunci : HbA1c, Wanita, Diabetes Melitus./Hemoglobin glycosylate is a glycated specific hemoglobin formed by the addition of the amino acid valine N-terminal in the beta-hemoglobin chain and reflects the average plasma glucose in the last 8 – 12 weeks. This study aims to look at the relationship between age and HbA1c levels in women aged 30 – 50 years with nomal blood glucose levels. This study used a correlational cross-sectional approach with a purposive sampling technique and obtained a sample of 34 people. The most HbA1c level was 4.1%, the lowest was 4.0% dan the highest was 8.8% with the number of consecutive subjects as much as 17.6%, 2.9% dan 2.9%, so that the average of HbA1c level was 4.644%. The Spearman Rank correlation test results found a very weak correlation and not significant (r = 0.129, p value = 0.466) > 0.05, so it can be concluded that there is no correlation between age and HbA1c levels in women aged 30 – 50 years with normal blood glucose level.
