Abstract

Guru merupakan individu sentral dalam proses pembelajaran, sehingga perannya sangat krusial bagi peserta didik maupun bagi organisasi sekolah. Untuk mencapai hasil yang optimal, guru dituntut memiliki komitmen organisasi yang tinggi. Komitmen guru dipengaruhi oleh berbagai faktor, di mana komunikasi organisasi dan kesejahteraan psikologis menjadi dua faktor yang disoroti dalam penelitian ini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh komunikasi organisasi dan kesejahteraan psikologis terhadap komitmen organisasi guru Sekolah Menengah Pertama (SMP) swasta se-Kecamatan Pondok Melati, Kota Bekasi, menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif deskriptif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah guru SMP swasta di wilayah tersebut. Berdasarkan hasil analisis, nilai koefisien determinasi (R2) yang diperoleh adalah 0,083. Angka ini mengindikasikan bahwa komunikasi organisasi dan kesejahteraan psikologis secara simultan memberikan kontribusi pengaruh sebesar 8,3% terhadap komitmen organisasi, sementara sisanya 91,7% dipengaruhi oleh faktor-faktor lain yang tidak diteliti dalam model ini./ The teacher is a central individual in the learning process, making their role extremely crucial for both students and the school organization. To achieve optimal results, teachers are required to possess a high level of organizational commitment. Teacher commitment is influenced by various factors, among which organizational communication and psychological well-being are highlighted in this study. This research aims to examine the influence of organizational communication and psychological well-being on the organizational commitment of private Junior High School (SMP) teachers across Pondok Melati Sub-district, Bekasi City, using a descriptive quantitative research method. The subjects of this study were private SMP teachers in that area. Based on the results of the analysis, the coefficient of determination (R2) obtained is 0.083. This figure indicates that organizational communication and psychological well-being simultaneously contribute an influence of 8.3% to organizational commitment, while the remaining 91.7% is influenced by other factors not examined in this model.
