Abstract

Keadaan pemuda Kristen zaman ini yang abai terhadap Firman Tuhan tidak dapat disangkal, hal ini juga dapat terjadi di kalangan pemuda JKI One Movement Bekasi. Maka, dibutuhkan suatu solusi bagi perjalanan iman mereka, yakni Pendidikan Agama Kristen (PAK). Adapun PAK melalui pelaksanaan khotbah merupakan bagian penting yang menjadi tugas gereja untuk menanamkan nilai-nilai Firman Tuhan. Melalui khotbah pemuda mendapatkan nasihat berdasarkan Firman Tuhan yang memperbarui kehidupan mereka. Di sisi lain, saat teduh juga berfungsi sebagai fondasi kerohanian, namun komitmen saat teduh seringkali luntur, maka khotbah menjadi jalan untuk menjaga komitmen tersebut. Adapun penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) Mengetahui efektivitas PAK dalam gereja melalui khotbah. (2) Mengetahui kedalaman komitmen saat teduh pemuda di JKI One Movement Bekasi. Maka peneliti melaksanakan penelitian di JKI One Movement Bekasi melalui metode penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Dengan informan penelitian yang terdiri atas 6 pemuda dan 3 pemimpin jemaat.Berdasarkan analisis data dari hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa: (1) Efektivitas khotbah sebagai bentuk pelaksanaan PAK di JKI One Movement Bekasi dapat mendorong pertumbuhan iman pemuda, termasuk dalam pelaksanaan komitmen saat teduh. (2) Pemuda di JKI One Movement Bekasi memiliki kedalaman komitmen dalam melaksanakan saat teduh, yang dipengaruhi oleh berbagai nasihat dari pelaksanaan khotbah serta persekutuan dengan rekan-rekan seiman di gereja. Dengan demikian pelaksanaan khotbah yang efektif sebagai bentuk PAK dalam gereja akan memengaruhi komitmen saat teduh pemuda di JKI One Movement Bekasi. Meskipun begitu, efektivitas khotbah bukanlah satu-satunya faktor pertumbuhan iman maupun komitmen saat teduh pemuda di JKI One Movement Bekasi, melainkan juga fellowship (persekutuan) dengan rekan-rekan seiman di gereja. Kata Kunci: Gereja, Khotbah, Komitmen Saat Teduh, Pemuda, Pendidikan Agama Kristen. / The state of Christian youth today who neglect the Word of God cannot be denied, this can also touch the youth at JKI One Movement Bekasi. Thus, a solution is needed for their faith journey, namely Christian Religious Education (CRE). CRE through the implementation of sermons is an important part of the church's duty to instill the values of the Word of God. Through sermons, youth get advice based on the Word of God that renews their lives. On the other hand, quiet time also serves as a spiritual foundation, but the commitment to quiet time often fades, so the sermon becomes a way to maintain that commitment. This study seeks to: (1) Explore the effectiveness of Christian Religious Education (CRE) in the church through sermons. (2) Identify the depth of commitment during the youth devotional time at JKI One Movement Bekasi. So the researcher conducted research at JKI One Movement Bekasi through a descriptive qualitative method. With research informants consisting of 6 youth and 3 church leaders. From the analysis of the collected data, it was discovered that: (1) The effectiveness of preaching as a form of CRE implementation at JKI One Movement Bekasi can encourage the growth of youth faith, including in the implementation of commitment during quiet time. (2) Youth at JKI One Movement Bekasi have a depth of commitment in carrying out devotional time, which is influenced by various advice from the sermon and fellowship with fellow believers in the church. Thus, the implementation of effective preaching as a form of CRE in the church will affect the commitment of youth devotional time at JKI One Movement Bekasi. Even so, the effectiveness of sermons is not the only factor in the growth of faith or commitment during youth devotions at JKI One Movement Bekasi, but also fellowship with fellow believers in the church.
