Abstract

Penilaian diagnostik adalah salah satu penilaian dalam Kurikulum Merdeka yang bisa dilakukan guru untuk mengidentifikasi dan mendiagnosa keadaan serta kesiapan belajar peserta didik. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi ketika mengamati berbagai suasana belajar peserta didik. Penulis ingin menemukan apakah kondisi peserta didik yang tampak antusias dan semangat mengikuti pembelajaran disebabkan karena adanya penilaian diagnostik yang mengakomodir kebutuhan belajar mereka. Mengingat pentingnya penilaian diagnostik untuk mengidentifikasi kesiapan dan kebutuhan belajar peserta didik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas penilaian diagnostik terhadap motivasi belajar peserta didik pada mata pelajaran PAK dan mengetahui motivasi belajar peserta didik sebelum dilakukan penilaian diagnostik dan setelah dilakukan penilaian diagnostik. Penelitian ini menggunakan menggunakan kualitatif deskriptif yang dilakukan dengan pendekatan analisis naratif untuk menggali pengalaman subjektif dari guru dan peserta didik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan penilaian diagnostik yang dilakukan guru PAK pada awal pembelajaran sudah efektif dalam meningkatkan motivasi peserta didik. Sembilan informan menyampaikan bahwa penilaian diagnostik yang dilakukan guru melalui pertanyaan pemantik dapat menumbuhkan rasa ingin tahu, keaktifan, dan motivasi belajar yang tinggi. Hal ini memberikan bukti nyata bahwa penilaian diagnostik tidak hanya meningkatkan motivasi kognitif, tetapi juga memenuhi kebutuhan emosional dan spiritual peserta didik, sehingga mereka merasa diperhatikan dan dihargai. Oleh karena itu, guru perlu secara konsisten melakukan penilaian diagnostik untuk terus memicu dan mempertahankan motivasi belajar peserta didik dalam pembelajaran PAK. Kata Kunci : Penilaian Diagnostik, Guru, Motivasi Belajar, Peserta Didik/Diagnostic Diagnostic assessment is one of the assessments in the Merdeka Curriculum that teachers can do to identify and diagnose students' learning conditions and readiness. This research was motivated by observing various learning atmospheres of students. The author wants to find out whether the condition of students who seem enthusiastic and enthusiastic about learning is due to the diagnostic assessment that accommodates their learning needs. Given the importance of diagnostic assessment to identify learners' readiness and learning needs. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of diagnostic assessment on students' learning motivation in PAK subjects and to determine students' learning motivation before diagnostic assessment and after diagnostic assessment. This research uses descriptive qualitative conducted with a narrative analysis approach to explore the subjective experiences of teachers and students. The results showed that the diagnostic assessment conducted by PAK teachers at the beginning of learning was effective in increasing students' motivation. Nine informants said that the diagnostic assessment conducted by teachers through triggering questions can foster curiosity, activeness, and high learning motivation. This provides clear evidence that diagnostic assessments not only increase cognitive motivation, but also fulfill learners' emotional and spiritual needs, so they feel cared for and valued. Therefore, teachers need to consistently conduct diagnostic assessments to continue to trigger and maintain learners' learning motivation in PAK learning.
