Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas penggunaan media kanal YouTube Ruang Mandarin dalam meningkatkan penguasaan kosakata bahasa Mandarin pada siswa kelas XI SMK 1 PSKD Jakarta. Metode yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan pendekatan quasi-eksperimen dan desain one group pretest-posttest. Data dikumpulkan melalui pretest, posttest, dan kuesioner. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan skor rata-rata dari 70,58 menjadi 88,52, dengan persentase peningkatan sebesar 25,62%. Selain itu, hasil kuesioner menunjukkan efektivitas sebesar 85,29% dalam kategori sangat efektif. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan video pembelajaran dari kanal YouTube Ruang Mandarin memberikan dampak positif yang signifikan terhadap penguasaan kosakata siswa. Namun, efektivitas ini juga dipengaruhi oleh peran guru dan keterbatasan teknis seperti koneksi internet. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa media pembelajaran YouTube Ruang Mandarin efektif dalam meningkatkan penguasaan kosakata bahasa Mandarin secara signifikan./ This study aims to determine the effectiveness of using the YouTube channel Ruang Mandarin as an instructional medium to improve Mandarin vocabulary mastery among 11th-grade students at SMK 1 PSKD Jakarta. The research employed a quantitative method with a quasi-experimental approach and a one-group pretest-posttest design. Data were collected through pretests, posttests, and questionnaires. The results showed an increase in the average score from 70.58 to 88.52, indicating a 25.62% improvement. In addition, the questionnaire results revealed an effectiveness rate of 85.29%, categorized as very effective. These findings indicate that educational videos from the Ruang Mandarin channel have a significant positive impact on students' vocabulary mastery. However, this effectiveness is also influenced by the teacher's role and technical limitations such as internet connectivity. Therefore, it can be concluded that the YouTube channel Ruang Mandarin is effective in significantly enhancing students' Mandarin vocabulary mastery./ 本研究旨在探讨使用 YouTube 频道 Ruang Mandarin 作为教学媒介,在提升雅加达 SMK 1 PSKD 高中十一年级学生汉语词汇掌握方面的有效性。研究采用定量方法,采用准实验设计中的单组前测-后测方案。通过前测、后测和问卷调查收集数据。研究结果显示,学生的平均分从 70.58 提高到 88.52,提升幅度为 25.62%。此外,问卷结果显示有效率为 85.29%,属于“非常有效”类别。这些发现表明,Ruang Mandarin 教学视频对学生词汇掌握具有显著的积极影响。然而,这种有效性也受到教师指导作用和网络连接等技术条件的影响。综上所述,YouTube 频道 Ruang Mandarin 在提升学生汉语词汇掌握方面具有显著的教学成效。
