Abstract

Low back pain adalah suatu tanda dan gejala yang sering mengakibatkan perasaan ketidaknyamanan pada punggung dibagian bawah. Hal ini bisa disebabkan karena usia, jenis kelamin, durasi bekerja, pekerjaan dan kebiasaan merokok. Riset ini bertujuan guna memahami adanya korelasi antara pekerjaan dengan peristiwa low back pain pada pasien di Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah Anuntaloko Parigi 2023. Di sini ada beberapa aspek dari low back pain yang diteliti yaitu umur, jenis kelamin, durasi kerja, pekerjaan, kebiasaan merokok. Riset ini sifatnya analistiktif observasionalitas dengan pendekatan retrospektif. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan total sampling, dengan total sebanyak 100 sampel. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah buku rekam medis pasien. Penelitian diolah dengan menggunakan SPSS melalui analisis Chisquare. Hasil penelitian menunjukan adanya korelasi antara durasi kerja dengan low back pain (p =0,041). Dengan rentang usia 20-80 tahun mayoritas yang terkena lbp usia >45 74,0%, berdasarkan jenis kelamin mayoritas Perempuan 51,0%, durasi bekerja >5 jam 93,0%, pekerjaan mayoritas adalah Petani 60,0%, kebiasaan merokok 63,0% dan pasien yang memiliki keluhan low back pain 74,0%. Dan tidak ditemukan adanya korelasi adanya pekerjaan petani dengan kejadian low back pain pada pasien di RSU Daerah Anuntaloko Parigi dengan (P=0,0226) pegawai kantoran (P=0,122). / Anuntaloko Parigi Regional General Hospital's Low Back Pain and Occupation Relationship 2023. A frequent ailment that produces discomfort in the lower back, low back pain is influenced by a number of factors, including smoking habits, age, gender, occupation, and length of work. The purpose of this study was to look into the connection between low back pain incidence and occupation among patients at Anuntaloko Parigi Regional General Hospital between 2023. The study used a retrospective design and an analytical observational method. One hundred participants were included in the study using a complete sample technique. Data collection utilized patients’ medical records, and the analysis was conducted using SPSS software with Chi-square tests. The results showed a significant relationship between work duration and low back pain (p = 0.041). Among participants aged 20–80 years, the majority of those affected by low back pain were over 45 years old (74.0%). In terms of gender, females constituted the majority (51.0%). Most participants had a work duration exceeding five hours (93.0%), and the majority were farmers (60.0%). Furthermore, 63.0% of participants were smokers, and 74.0% experienced low back pain. However, the study not found a strongest relationship between being a farmer and low back pain (P = 0.226) or between office work and low back pain (P = 0.122).
