Abstract

Penelitian ini secara umum bertujuan untuk mengetahui profil status gizi pada lanjut usia di Puskesmas Mopah Merauke, secara khusus untuk mengidentifikasi status gizi berdasarkan indeks massa tubuh. Metode penelitian ini kuantitatif yaitu proses penelitian merumuskan masalah sampai mengambil kesimpulan. Dengan desain deskriptif untuk memberikan gambaran yang detail mengenai gejala atau fenomena. Jumlah sampel yang di gunakan sebanyak 30 dengan tekhnik pengambilan simple random sampling, dimana penelitian ini mengambil sampel secara acak/random. Hasil penelitian status gizi lansia berdasarkan Indeks Massa Tubuh adalah 50% status gizi normal, 10% gizi kurang, 40% gizi lebih. IMT dipilih untuk menentukan status gizi pada lansia karena lebih mudah digunakan dan bersifat objektif. / This research is generally aimed to find out the profile of nutritional status in elderly at Mopah Merauke Health Center, specifically to identify nutritional status based on body mass index. This research method is quantitative research process formulate the problem to take conclusion. With descriptive design to give a detailed picture of the symptoms or phenomena. The number of samples in use as much as 30 with techniques of taking simple random sampling, where this research took a random sample / random. The results of the study of nutritional status of elderly based on Body Mass Index is 50% normal nutritional status, 10% less nutrition, 40% more nutrition. IMT is selected to determine the nutritional status of the elderly because it is easier to use and objective
