Abstract

Ischialgia merupakan suatu kondisi dimana saraf Ischiadicus (skiatik) yang mempersarafi jaringan di daerah punggung bawah yang terjepit sehingga menimbulkan rasa nyeri di daerah punggung bawah, bokong dan tungkai. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh faktor pekerjaan dan faktor risiko lainnya terhadap penyakit Ischalgia pada pasien di Rumah Sakit Umum Universitas Kristen Indonesia. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah survei deskriptif. Teknik sampling yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah non-random sampling pada 50 pasien RSU UKI. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuisioner. Berdasarkan hasil yang dilakukan, disimpulkan bahwa responden yang memiliki hasil Faktor risiko berat terdapat 26 orang (92.9%) dengan kerja berat, dan 2 orang (7.1%) dengan kerja ringan. Sedangkan pada responden yang memiliki hasil faktor risiko ringan terdapat 15 orang (68.2%) dengan kerja berat, dan 7 orang (31.8%) dengan kerja ringan. Kata Kunci : Ischialgia, faktor pekerjaan, faktor risiko. / Ischialgia is a condition where Ischiadicus (sciatic) nerves which innervate the tissues on lower back area is pinched therefore causing pain in lower back, bottom and limbs. This research purpose is to know the influence of occupation and other risk factor toward Ischalgia disease in Indonesian Christian University General Hospiral patients. The research method used is descriptive survey. The sampling technique used in this study was non-random sampling in 50 patients of UKI General Hospital. The instrument used in this study is a questionnaire. Based on the results of the research, it is summerized that respondents who have high risk factir are 26 people (92.9%) with heavy work, and 2 people (7.1%) with light work. While the respondents who have the result of light risk factor there are 15 people (68.2%) with heavy work, and 7 people (31.8%) with light work.
