Abstract

Osteoartritis merupakan penyakit sendi yang paling banyak ditemukan di dunia, termasuk di Indonesia. Penyakit ini menyebabkan nyeri dan disabilitas pada penderita sehingga mengganggu aktivitas sehari-hari. Di Indonesia, OA merupakan penyakit reumatik yang paling banyak ditemui dibandingkan kasus penyakit reumatik lainnya. Berdasarkan data Badan Kesehatan Dunia (WHO), penduduk yang mengalami gangguan OA di Indonesia tercatat 8,1% dari total penduduk. Sebanyak 29% di antaranya melakukan pemeriksaan dokter, dan sisanya atau 71% mengonsumsi obat bebas pereda nyeri. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran penderita osteoartritis genu berdasarkan karakteristik pasien di Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah Koja pada periode Januari 2017- Desember 2017. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif menggunakan 106 rekam medis yang dianalisi secara univariat dengan menggunakan program SPSS v.22. Hasil analisis menunjukkan osteoartritis lebih banyak terjadi pada usia 51 – 65 tahun sebanyakk 57 pasien (53,8%), jenis kelamin wanita sebanyak 81 pasien (76,4%), pasien dengan Indeks Massa Tubuh (IMT) lebih 66 pasien (69,8%) dan pasien dengan pekerjaan Ibu Rumah Tangga (IRT) dengan jumlah 61 pasien (57,5%). Kata kunci: Osteoartritis genu, usia, jenis kelamin, indeks massa tubuh , pekerjaan. / Osteoarthritis (OA) is the most common joint disease in the world, including in Indonesia. This disease causes pain and disability in patients. In Indonesia, OA is the most common rheumatic disease compared with other cases of rheumatic disease. World Health Organization (WHO), 8,1 % of the total population in Indonesia experience OA disorders. As many as 29% of them, consulted a doctor and the remaining or 71% took pain-relieving drugs. This study aims to describe osteoarthritis genu patients based on characteristics of patients at the Koja Regional General Hospital in the period January 2017 - December 2017. The type of research conducted in this study was descriptive using 106 medical records analyzed univariately using the SPSS v.22 program. The results showed that osteoarthritis was more prevalent at the age of 51-65 years (53.8%), females as many as 81 patients (76.4%), patients with Body Mass Index (BMI) more than 66 (69.8%) and housewives with 61 patients (57.5%).
