Abstract
Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran Teams Game Tournament (TGT) terhadap hasil belajar fisika dan minat siswa kelas XI SMAN 42 Jakarta pada materi proses termodinamika. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian kuantitatif dua kelompok pretest-posttest. Secara spesifik, desain penelitian diterapkan pada dua kelas yang berbeda, yaitu kelas eksperimen menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TGT dan kelas kontrol menggunakan model ceramah yang berpusat pada guru (teacher center learning). Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan soal pilihan ganda dan kuesioner sebagai instrumen pengumpulan data. Berdasarkan perhitungan statistik uji hipotesis menggunakan uji satu sampel, hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa minat dan hasil belajar fisika siswa dapat ditingkatkan dengan model pembelajaran TGT. Nilai thitung uji sebesar 46,503 lebih besar dari nilai ttabel atau 46,053 > 1,711 dan persentase minat belajar siswa sebesar 86,4% dari skala 100% termasuk dalam kategori sangat tinggi. Rata-rata skor posttest setiap indikator soal menunjukkan hasil belajar. Pada kelas eksperimen, nilai rata-rata hasil belajar sebesar 80,00. Demikian juga pengolahan data kelas control menunjukkan rata-rata posttest sebesar 67,60. Rata-rata nilai n-gain hasil belajar siswa kelas eksperimen yaitu 68,96 dengan kategori cukup efektif serta rata-rata nilai n-gain kelas kontrol yaitu 55,63 dengan kategori kurang efektif yang menunjukkan adanya pengaruh terhadap peningkatan minat belajar dan hasil belajar siswa dengan model TGT dalam penelitian ini. / The aim of this research is to find out how the use of the Teams Game Tournament (TGT) learning model influences class XI students' interest and learning outcomes in physics on thermodynamic processes at SMAN 42 Jakarta. This research uses a two-group pretest-posttest quantitative research design. Specifically, the research design was applied to two different classes, namely the experimental class using the TGT type cooperative learning model and the control class using a teacher-centered lecture model (teacher center learning). Data collection techniques use multiple choice questions and questionnaires as data collection instruments. Based on statistical calculations for hypothesis testing using a one-sample test, the research results show that students' interest and learning outcomes in physics can be improved with the TGT learning model. The ttest value of 46.503 is greater than the ttable value or 46.053 > 1.711 and the percentage of student interest in learning is 86.4% on a scale of 100%, which is included in the very high category. The average posttest score for each question indicator shows learning outcomes. In the experimental class, the average learning outcome score was 80.00. Likewise, data processing for the control class showed a posttest average of 67.60. The average n-gain value for experimental class students' learning outcomes is 68.96 in the quite effective category and the average n-gain value for the control class is 55.63 in the less effective category, which shows an influence on increasing student interest and learning outcomes. with the TGT model in this research.
