Abstract

Gastritis merujuk pada peradangan pada lapisan mukosa lambung yang dapat menyebabkan peradangan akut, kronis, atau lokal. Gastritis sering kali berasal dari pola makan yang tidak baik, kebiasaan makan yang tidak menentu, dan konsumsi makanan yang tidak bersih, yang merupakan penyebab utama gastritis. Tujuan yang hendak dicapai dari penelitian ini adalah untuk melakukan identifikasi terhadap hubungan pola makan tidak teratur dengan risiko kejadian gastritis pada mahasiswa fakultas kedokteran Universitas Kristen Indonesia angkatan 2022. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metodologi penelitian kuantitatif, yaitu dengan menggunakan desain deskriptif korelasi dengan pendekatan Cross Sectional. Data akan dianalisis dengan menggunakan uji chi-square untuk melihat hubungan antara pola makan dengan kejadian gastritis pada mahasiswa Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Kristen Indonesia angkatan 2022. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa dari 161 responden, 94 mahasiswa (58,4%) memiliki pola makan yang buruk, dan di antara mereka, 89 mahasiswa (53,3%) mengalami gastritis. Selain itu, 46 responden (28,6%) memiliki pola makan yang buruk dan gastritis positif. Hasil dari ji Chi-square menghasilkan nilai p-value=0,02<0,05. Oleh karena itu, hasil ini dapat diterima, yang menunjukkan adanya hubungan yang signifikan antara pola makan dan kejadian gastritis di antara mahasiswa yang di Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Kristen Indonesia angkatan 2022. Dimana mayoritas mahasiswa dengan pola makan buruk memiliki kejadian gastritis positive. / Gastritis refers to inflammation of the mucosal lining of the stomach that can cause acute, chronic or localized inflammation. Gastritis often stems from poor diet, erratic eating habits, and consumption of unclean foods, which are the main catalysts for gastritis. The purpose of this study was to identify the relationship between irregular diet and the risk of gastritis in medical faculty students of Universitas Kristen Indonesia class of 2022. This study was conducted using quantitative research methodology, namely by using a descriptive correlation design with a Cross Sectional approach. Data will be analyzed using the chi-square test to see the relationship between diet and the incidence of gastritis in students of the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Kristen Indonesia class of 2022. The results of the analysis showed that out of 161 respondents, 94 students (58.4%) had a poor diet, and among them, 89 students (53.3%) had gastritis. In addition, 46 respondents (28.6%) had a poor diet and positive gastritis. The result of Chi-square ji yielded a p-value=0.02<0.05. Therefore, this result can be accepted, which indicates a significant relationship between diet and the incidence of gastritis among students at the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Kristen Indonesia class of 2022. Where the majority of students with poor diet had a positive incidence of gastritis.
