Abstract

Coronavirus disease-2019 (COVID-19) adalah penyakit sistem pernapasan yang menular dan coronavirus menjadi penyebabnya. Mobilitas tinggi dimiliki oleh usia produktif sehingga memiliki risiko lebih tinggi untuk terinfeksi COVID-19. COVID-19 memicu penyakit serius seperti pneumonia, MiddlelEastlRespiratorylSyndromel (MERS), dan SeverelAcutelRespiratory Syndrome (SARS) yang menghambat jalur pernapasan sehingga dapat menyebabkan kematian. Penderita umumnya mengalami gejala seperti batuk, demam, dan kesulitan bernapas. COVID-19 umumnya didiagnosis oleh real-time polymeraselchainlreaction (RT-PCR) karena memiliki kecepatan dan keakuratan yang tinggi. Namun, pemeriksaan penunjang juga diperlukan untuk mengkonfirmasi diagnosis. Salah satu pemeriksaan penunjang lain yang umum dilakukan adalah radiografi seperti x ray atau rontgen dada. Penulis memiliki niat melakukan penelitian tentang gambaran radiografi toraks pasien terkonfirmasi COVID-19 pada usia produktif di Rumah Sakit Universitas Kristen Indonesia periode Maret 2020 – Januari 2021. Penelitian ini merupakan studi potong lintang (cross sectional) non eksperimental dengan desain deskriptif, retrospektif dengan menggunakan rekam medis. Penelitian ini akan dilaksanakan selama kurang lebih satu bulan, dimulai dari Agustus – September 2023. Sampel minimal didapatkan sebanyak 69 orang dengan teknik consecutive sampling. Kata kunci: COVID-19, gambaran radiografi toraks, usia produktif. / Coronavirus disease-2019 (COVID-19) is an infectious disease of the respiratory system caused by a coronavirus. Productive age has high mobility so they have a higher risk of contracting COVID-19. COVID-19 triggers serious illnesses such as pneumonia, MiddlelEastlRespiratorylSyndromel (MERS), and SeverelAcutelRespiratorylSyndrome (SARS) which block the respiratory tract so that it can cause death. Sufferers generally experience symptoms such as fever, cough, and difficulty breathing. COVID-19 is generally diagnosed by real-time polymeraselchainlreaction (RT-PCR) because it has high speed and accuracy. However, additional examinations are also needed to establish the diagnosis. One of the other supporting examinations that is commonly carried out is radiography such as an x-ray or chest X-ray. Therefore, the authors wish to conduct research on chest radiographic images of patients with confirmed COVID-19 at productive age at Universitas Kristen Indonesia Hospital for the period March 2020 – January 2021. This research is a non-experimental cross-sectional study with a descriptive, retrospective design using medical records. This research will be carried out for approximately one months, starting from August – September 2023. A minimum sample of 69 people is obtained using a sequential sampling technique.
