Abstract

Stres kerja merupakan permasalahan yang sangat sering dihadapi oleh karyawan, timbul akibat bekerja melebihi kemampuan sehingga mengakibatkan berbagai macam respon baik fisiologis, psikologis, dan perilaku. Stres kerja mengakibatkan dampak yaitu mengganggu kesehatan, dan kesejahteraan secara karyawan, sama halnya dapat berpengaruh negatif terhadap produktivitas dan kenyamanan ditempat kerja. Adapun faktor yang menghasilkan stres kerja yaitu beban dan durasi kerja yang berubah-ubah dan bertambah. Durasi kerja adalah lamanya seseorang bekerja pada suatu instansi atau perusahaab. Sementara beban kerja, secara definisi, yaitu beban yang ditanggung dan harus diselesaikan dalam waktu yang telah diputuskan. Penelitian terdahulu memberikan hasil dimana hubungan antara durasi dan beban dengan kejadian stres kerja masih menjadi kontroversi atau perdebatan. Denagn itu tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui hubungan antara durasi dan beban kerja dengan stres kerja pada karyawan Bank Papua Cabang Waisai periode 2022. Adapun penelitian menerapkan metode rancangan cross sectional dengan total sampel 84 responden. Hasil penelitian bivariat menunjukkan bahwa hal-hal yang dapat menyebabkan stres kerja secara signifikan adalah masa kerja, beban kerja, dan jenis kelamin. Kata kunci : stres kerja, durasi kerja, beban kerja. / Work stress is a problem that is very often faced by employees, arising from working beyond their capabilities resulting in various kinds of physiological, psychological and behavioral responses. Work stress has an impact that is detrimental to the health and well-being of employees, as well as can have a negative effect on productivity and comfort in the workplace. The factors that produce work stress are the work load and duration that change and increase. Duration of work is the length of time a person works for an agency or company. While workload, by definition, is the burden that is borne and must be completed within the time that has been decided. Previous studies have provided results where the relationship between duration and workload and the incidence of work stress is still a matter of controversy or debate. Accordingly, the purpose of this study was to find out the relationship between duration and workload and work stress on employees of the Waisai Branch Papua Bank for the 2022 period. The research used a cross-sectional design method with a total sample of 84 respondents. The results of the bivariate study show things that can significantly cause work stress are years of service, workload, and gender. Keywords: work stress, work duration, workload
