Abstract

This study aims to determine a significant influence on the use of video learning of physics to increase student science process skills on material measurement and important number. The study was conducted in SMA Negeri 42 Jakarta class X MIPA odd semester year 2019/2020. This study uses a quasi experimental method with pretest-posttest control group design, sampling techniques using random cluster sampling technique. The research instrument used is a form of essay test as many as 14 items and pieces of student science process skills of observation. The results showed an average pretest score was 38 and the average value posttest at 71 an increase of 33. The test results of the experimental class gain control class at 0.53 and 0.44, both of these values fall into the medium category. That is, the use of physics learning video can improve student science process skills. For the observation of science process skills of student showed a significant increase, it can be indicated by the value of the average percentage of all aspects of student science process skills from 68.75% to 69.44%. Achieved the highest aspect of student happened to observe aspects of the value of the percentage of 79.17%. Keywords: Video Physics Education, Science Process Skills, Measurement and Important Number.
