Abstract

Adapun tujuan penelitian ini adalah: (1) untuk mengusulkan solusi atas permasalahan penyalahgunaan gawai oleh siswa Kristen di sekolah menengah pertama (SMP) IP YAKIN Jakarta. (2) Merumuskan bentuk-bentuk tindakan efektif mengatasi penyalahgunaan gawai oleh siswa Kristen di sekolah menengah pertama (SMP) IP YAKIN Jakarta. (3) Penelitian ini juga ingin menjelaskan cara membangun sinergisme antara Guru Pendidikan Agama Kristen dan Orang Tua dalam mengatasi penyalahgunaan gawai oleh siswa Kristen di sekolah menengah pertama (SMP) IP YAKIN Jakarta. Tiga tujuan penelitian tersebut, didasari oleh masalah yang terjadi di SMP IP YAKIN Jakarta. Yaitu adanya masalah penyalahgunaan gawai oleh siswa SMP IP YAKIN Jakarta pada saat pembelajaran online, dimana para siswa menggunakan gawai untuk bermain game, media sosial, dan hal lainnya, sementara gawai yang diberikan orang tua terhadap siswa bertujuan digunakan untuk ikut kelas online serta mencari informasi seputar pembelajaran. Maka dari itu peneliti melakukan penelitian untuk memberikan solusi terhadap masalah tersebut, dalam penelitian ini peneliti menggunakan metode pendekatan kualitatif deskriktif. Dengan subjek atau responden penelitian ini, yaitu 10 siswa, 10 orang tua siswa, serta 1 guru agama Kristen yang mengajar di SMP IP YAKIN Jakarta. Selanjutnya berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan analisis data yang dilakukan diperoleh bahwa: (1) faktor penyebab penyalah gunaan gawai oleh siswa Kristen SMP IP YAKIN yaitu: rasa bosan, kecanduan main game dan media sosial di gawai, lingkungan, kurangnya bimbingan dan pengawasan yang lebih oleh orang tua, kurangnya bimbingan dan pengawasan oleh guru agama Kristen, dan kurangnya pengetahuan orang tua terkait cara mengoperasikan gawai. (2) cara mengatasi penyalahgunaan gawai oleh siswa Kristen di SMP IP YAKIN yaitu dengan melakukan: imbauan secara verbal, tidak diisikan paket data, mengatur waktu penggunaan gawai, memberikan teguran dan nasehat, diberikan kepercayaan kepada siswa dalam mengontrol gawai, komunikasi yang baik antara guru, orang tua, dan siswa, memberikan pengawasan dan bimbingan, dan penyitaan gawai oleh orang tua. (3) pandangan responden terkait penyalahgunaan gawai oleh siswa Kristen SMP IP YAKIN Jakarta, sebagian besar para responden sadar akan terjadinya penyalahgunaan gawai oleh siswa Kristen di SMP IP YAKIN. Tidak hanya itu, para responden berpendapat bahwa penyebab utama yang mengakibatkan terjadinya penyalahgunaan gawai oleh siswa SMP IP YAKIN Jakarta yaitu tidak adanya komunikasi yang intens serta aktif antara guru agama Kristen, orang tua siswa, serta siswa, sehingga mengakibatkan miss komunikasi dan penyalahgunaan pun tidak terelakkan./ As for the purpose of this study: (1) to propose solutions to the problem of misuse of gadget by Christian students in middle school (junior high) IP believes Jakarta. (2) formulate forms of effective action against gadget abuse by Christian students in middle school (junior) IP believes Jakarta. (3) the study would also like to explain how to build synergism between Christian religious education teachers and parents in overcoming the gadget abuse of Christian students in IP high school (junior high) is sure Jakarta. The three objectives of the study were based on a problem that occurred at IP central high. Which is the problem of gadget abuse by IP middle school students, which is that students use gadgets to play games, social media, and other things, while gadgets that parents give to students are being used to take online classes and search for information about learning. Thus researchers are conducting research to solve the problem, in this study researchers are employing a qualitative, desensitizing approach. With the subject or respondents of the study, which is 10 students, 10 student parents, and 1 Christian teacher who teaches at IP school is sure Jakarta. Furthermore based on the results of research and data analysis obtained that: (1) the factors behind the use of gadgets by elementary school Christian students IP believes: boredom, addiction to games and social media in gadgets, the environment, lack of more guidance and supervision by parents, lack of guidance and supervision by Christian religious teachers, and a parent's lack of knowledge on how to perform gadgets. (2) how to overcome gadget abuse by Christian students in IP middle schools is sure to do: verbal appeals, omissions of the data package, set up time for gadgets, give reproof and counsel, trust the students with over gadgets, good communication between teachers, parents, and students, provide supervision and guidance, and the confiscation of gadgets by parents. (3) the respondents' views on gadget abuse by IP junior high school Christian students believe in Jakarta, most of those who are aware of the likelihood of gadget abuse by Christian students in IP middle schools are sure. Furthermore, respondents made was held that it was the main cause of gadget abuse by IP high school students is that the absence of intense and active communication between Christian teachers, students' parents, and students, thereby making miss communication and abuse inevitable.
