Abstract

Kinerja guru adalah faktor penting dalam pendidikan dan penentu kualitas pendidikan yang dapat dipengaruhi oleh gaya kepemimpinan dan komitmen. Pengamatan awal menunjukkan gaya kepemimpinan di Yayasan Nitya Bhakti Jakarta adalah model gaya diktator dalam melakukan dan melaksanakan kebijakannya sendiri ketika mengambil keputusan, seperti dalam penerimaan siswa baru atau pengangkatan kepala sekolah dan wakilnya. Gaya kepemimpinan demokratis, misalnya berkaitan dengan pembagian tugas antar guru. Guru membentuk diri menjadi salah satu komponen yang harus berperan aktif dan berkomitmen sesuai dengan perkembangan yang terjadi di dunia pendidikan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pengaruh gaya kepemimpinan atau komitmen guru atau keduanya secara bersama-sama terhadap integritas kinerja guru di Yayasan Nitya Bhakti Jakarta. Penelitian menggunakan desain penelitian survei lapangan. Komponen penelitiannya yaitu guru di Yayasan Nitya Bhakti Jakarta sebanyak 80 responden. Pengamatan menggunakan rentang waktu (cross section atau one shoot). Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa integritas keseluruhan kinerja guru di Yayasan Nitya Bhakti Jakarta cenderung sangat tinggi (43,75%), gaya kepemimpinan yang cenderung tinggi adalah gaya kepemimpinan kharismatik dan gaya kepemimpinan demokratis. Komitmen guru berada pada kategori cukup dengan persentase 62,5%. Variabel gaya kepemimpinan dan komitmen guru secara bersama-sama berpengaruh signifikan terhadap integritas kinerja guru di Yayasan Nitya Bhakti Jakarta sebesar 49,2% dan 50,8%-nya disebabkan oleh variabel lain. Masih diperlukan upaya untuk menerapkan gaya kepemimpinan yang disesuaikan dengan kondisi bawahan dan perlu meningkatkan komitmen guru yang dapat dilakukan sekolah untuk meningkatkan integritas kinerja guru. Kata kunci: Gaya Kepemimpinan, Komitmen Guru, Integritas Kinerja Guru./ Teacher performance is an important factor of education and a determinant of the quality of education, it can be influenced by leadership style and commitment. Initial observations suggest that the leadership style in Yayasan Nitya Bhakti Jakarta is dictatorial in conducting and implementing its own policies when making decisions, such as in the admission of new students or the appointment of school principals and their deputies. The democratic style, for example, deals with the distribution of tasks between teachers. Teachers form themselves into one of the components that must play an active and committed role in accordance with the developments that occur in the world of education. The purpose of this study was to analyze the influence of leadership style or commitment of teachers or both together on the integrity of teacher performance in Yayasan Nitya Bhakti Jakarta. The study used a field survey research design and the research component was 80 teachers at Yayasan Nitya Bhakti Jakarta with cross section or one shoot observations. The results found that the overall integrity of teacher performance in Yayasan Nitya Bhakti Jakarta tends to be very high (43.75%), leadership styles that tend to be high are charismatic leadership style and democratic leadership style. Teacher commitment is in the sufficient category (62.5%). Variables leadership style and commitment of teachers together significantly affect the integrity of teacher performance in Yayasan Nitya Bhakti Jakarta 49.2% and 50.8% are caused by other variables. Efforts are still needed to implement a leadership style that is adapted to the conditions of subordinates and need to increase the commitment of teachers so that the integrity of teacher performance increases.
