Abstract

Penelitian “ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan profil kemampuan pemahaman matematis siswa kelas” XI SMK Swasta Otomindo Jakarta. Penelitian ini adalah“penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif karena data utama tertulis berupa kata-kata tertulis. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari dua kelas XI siswa berkemampuan matematika tinggi, sedang, dan” rendah. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan dapat disimpulkan bahwa profil kemampuan pemahaman matematis siswa dalam materi SPLDV di SMK Swasta Otomindo Jakarta, lebih banyak didominasi oleh kemampuan pemahaman induktif dengan jumlah 26 siswa. “Dikarenakan siswa hanya dapat menerapkan rumus atau konsep dalam kasus sederhana atau kasus serupa, kemudian siswa sulit untuk dapat membuktikan kebenaran rumus dan teorema serta memperkirakan kebenaran dengan pasti (tanpa ragu-ragu) sebelum menganalisa lebih” lanjut. “Berdasarkan indikator kemamuan pemahaman matematis siswa memiliki kemampuan pemahaman matematis pada kategori rendah pada dua indikator, yaitu kemampuan pemahaman rasional yaitu siswa dapat membuktikan kebenaran rumus dan teorema (10 siswa)”dan kemampuan pemahaman intuitif yaitu“Siswa dapat memperkirakan kebenaran dengan pasti (tanpa ragu-ragu) sebelum menganalisa lebih lanjut (10 siswa) Kemudian pada kategori sedang terdapat pada kemampuan pemahaman mekanikal, yaitu Siswa dapat mengingat dan menerapkan rumus secara rutin dan menghitung secara sederhana” (14 siswa). Kata Kunci: Profil Pemahaman, Kemampuan Pemahaman, SPLDV / This study aims to describe the profile of students' mathematical understanding abilities of class XI SMK Private Otomindo Jakarta. This research is a quantitative descriptive study because the main data is written in the form of written words. The research subjects consisted of two grade XI students with high, medium, and low math abilities. Based on the results of the research that has been carried out, it can be concluded that the profile of students' mathematical understanding abilities in the SPLDV material at the Otomindo Jakarta Private Vocational School is more dominated by inductive understanding abilities with a total of 26 students. Because students can only apply formulas or concepts in simple cases or similar cases, it is difficult for students to be able to prove the truth of formulas and theorems and estimate the truth with certainty (without hesitation) before analyzing further. Based on the indicators of the ability of mathematical understanding students have mathematical understanding abilities in the low category on two indicators, namely the ability of rational understanding, namely students can prove the truth of formulas and theorems (10 students) and intuitive understanding abilities, namely students can estimate the truth with certainty (without hesitation). before analyzing further (10 students) Then in the medium category there is mechanical understanding ability, namely students can remember and apply formulas regularly and calculate simply (14 students).
