Abstract

Penelitian ini fokus terhadap adanya masalah komunikasi yang terjadi di tengah masyarakat. Pengurus Rukun Tetangga (RT) mengalami hambatan dalam berkomunikasi dengan warga usia lanjut ketika menyelenggarakan sosialisasi vaksinasi covid-19. Kegiatan sosialisasi tidak berjalan dengan lancar, ada beberapa hambatan atau kesulitan – kesulitan yang ditemui selama sosialisasi tersebut berjalan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui faktor hambatan – hambatan pengurus RT kepada warga usia lanjut dalam kegiatan sosialisasi vaksinasi covid-19. Penelitian menggunakan metode pendekatan kualitatif dengan mengangkat fenomenologi hambatan komunikasi dalam kegiatan sosialisasi vaksinasi covid-19 yang diselenggarakan pengurus RT. Sebagai alat pengumpulan data untuk mendapatkan hasil, penelitian ini menggunakan cara wawancara mendalam (in-depth interview). Informan ditentukan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling, yaitu pengurus RT 002/RW 04, RT 003/RW 04, RT 004/RW 04, RT 006/RW 04, dan RT 007/RW 04 di Kelurahan Lebak Bulus, Kecamatan Cilandak, Jakarta Selatan sebagai objek penelitian. Berdasarkan temuan data lapangan, faktor hambatan komunikasi pengurus RT dalam menyosialisasikan vaksinasi covid-19 kepada warga usia lanjut disebabkan oleh perbedaan sosiologis, antropologis, psikologis, mekanis, dan ekologis. The Neighborhood Association (RT) administrators experienced difficulties in communicating with the elderly when conducting socialization of the COVID-19 vaccination. The socialization activities did not run smoothly, there were several obstacles or difficulties encountered during the socialization. The purpose of this study was to determine the factors that hinder the RT management to the elderly in the socialization of COVID-19 vaccination activities. The study used a qualitative approach method by raising the phenomenology of communication barriers in the COVID-19 vaccination socialization activities organized by the RT management. As a data collection tool to obtain results, this research uses in-depth interviews. The informants were determined using a purposive sampling technique, namely the administrators of RT 001/RW 04, RT 003/RW 04, RT 004/RW 04, RT 005/RW 04, and RT 006/RW 04 in Lebak Bulus Village, Cilandak District, South Jakarta as object of research. Based on the findings of field data, the communication barrier factor for the RT management in disseminating the covid-19 vaccination to the elderly is caused by sociological, anthropological, psychological, mechanical, and ecological differences.
