Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh kompensasi dan motivasi tehadap etos kerja guru di SMA Swasta Kampus Telukdalam. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Sekolah Menengah Atas (SMA) swasta Kampus Telukdalam. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh guru yang mengajar di SMA swasta kampus telukdalam yang berjumlah 20 orang dan dijadikan sebagai sampel. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan kuesioner (angket) dengan menggunakan skala likert. Hasil penelitian ini menyimpulkan (1). Terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan antara Variabel kompensasi (X1) terhadap etos kerja (Y), dengan nilai koefisien korelasi determinasi sebesar 0.362 atau 36,2%, (2) Terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan antara variabel motivasi (X2) terhadap etos kerja (Y) dengan nilai koefisien korelasi determinasi sebesar 0.462 atau 46,2%, (3). Terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan antara variabel kompensasi dan motivasi secara bersama-sama terhadap etos kerja. Dengan nilai korelasi sebesar 0.46,3 atau 46,3 %. Kata Kunci: Kompensasi, Motivasi, Etos Kerja Guru /The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of compensation and motivation tehadap work ethic of teachers in private SMA Telukdalam Campus. This research was conducted at private high school (SMA) Sekolah Telukdalam. The population in this study is all teachers who teach in private SMA campus telukdalam which amounted to 20 people and used as a sample. Data collection techniques in this study using questionnaire (questionnaire) by using Likert scale. The results of this study concluded (1). There are positive and significant influence between compensation variable (X1) to work ethos (Y), with correlation coefficient of determination equal to 0.362 or 36.2%, (2). There is positive and significant influence between motivation variable (X2) to work ethic (Y ) with the value of determination correlation coefficient of 0.462 or 46.2%, (3). There is a positive and significant influence between the variables of compensation and motivation together on the work ethic. With a correlation value of 0.46.3 or 46.3%.
