Abstract

Lestari, Putri Rosinta, NIM: 2203190052, Evaluasi Penerapan Kurikulum Pendidikan Agama Kristen kepada Remaja di Gereja Protestan Injili Nusantara (GPIN) Jemaat Bukit Asam Tanjung Enim, Tesis: Universitas Kristen Indonesia, pembimbing I: Dr. Jusen Boangmanalu, pembimbing II: Dr. Djoys Anneke Rantung, M.Th., Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi pelaksanaan kurikulum Pendidikan Agama Kristen (PAK) pada remaja di Gereja Protestan Injili Nusantara (GPIN) Jemaat Bukit Asam Tanjung Enim Dengan Model Evaluasi Ralph Tyler. Melalui pendekatan kualitatif, penelitian ini mengumpulkan data dari wawancara dan dokumentasi dengan komisi remaja, pembina remaja, dan remaja itu sendiri. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan kurikulum Pendidikan Agama Kristen Remaja di Gereja Protestan Injili Nusantara (GPIN) Jemaat Bukit Asam Tanjung Enim diidentifikasi memiliki masalah yang meliputi Metode pengajaran yang masih kurang kreatif, Adanya keterbatasan waktu dalam penyampaian materi, Materi dalam kurikulum remaja di GPIN masih kurang bervariasi, Pembina remaja yang kurang memberikan ide kreatif dalam membuat materi pembelajaran dalam kurikulum. Meskipun terdapat upaya untuk mengajarkan nilai-nilai Kristen kepada remaja, banyak remaja merasa bahwa materi yang diajarkan kurang relevan dengan kebutuhan dan minat mereka, terutama dalam menghadapi isu-isu sosial dan spiritual yang mereka hadapi sehari-hari. Evaluasi kurikulum ini menghasilkan beberapa implikasi teologis dan pedagogis. Dari sudut pandang teologis, evaluasi memperkuat pemahaman remaja tentang nilai-nilai Kristen, sehingga mereka dapat menerapkannya dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Dari perspektif pedagogis, penelitian ini menekankan pentingnya penggunaan metode pengajaran yang lebih interaktif dan menarik, seperti pembelajaran berbasis proyek, diskusi kelompok, dan penggunaan multimedia. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan peningkatan pelatihan bagi pembina remaja agar mereka dapat menyampaikan materi dengan lebih efektif. Selain itu, disarankan agar materi ajar disusun dengan lebih sesuai dengan konteks remaja dan tantangan yang mereka hadapi. Dengan demikian, diharapkan keterlibatan remaja dalam proses belajar dapat meningkat, dan mereka dapat mengalami pertumbuhan iman yang signifikan. An Evaluation of the Implementation of the Christian Religious Education Curriculum for Adolescents at the Indonesian Evangelical Protestant Church (Gereja Protestan Injili Nusantara, GPIN), Bukit Asam Congregation, Tanjung Enim. This study aims to evaluate the implementation of the Christian Religious Education (CRE) curriculum for adolescents at the Indonesian Evangelical Protestant Church (Gereja Protestan Injili Nusantara, GPIN), Bukit Asam Congregation, Tanjung Enim, using Ralph Tyler's evaluation model. Employing a qualitative approach, this study collected data through interviews and documentation involving the youth commission, youth mentors, and adolescents themselves. The findings indicate several problems in the implementation of the Christian Religious Education curriculum for adolescents at GPIN, Bukit Asam Congregation, Tanjung Enim. These include a lack of creativity in teaching methods, limited time for delivering instructional materials, insufficient variety in the curriculum content, and a lack of creative ideas from youth mentors in developing learning materials. Although efforts have been made to teach Christian values to adolescents, many of them feel that the materials provided are insufficiently relevant to their needs and interests, particularly in addressing the social and spiritual issues they encounter in their daily lives. The curriculum evaluation yields several theological and pedagogical implications. From a theological perspective, the evaluation highlights the importance of strengthening adolescents' understanding of Christian values so that they can apply these values in their daily lives. From a pedagogical perspective, this study emphasizes the need for more interactive and engaging teaching methods, such as project-based learning, group discussions, and multimedia use. This study recommends providing further training for youth mentors to enhance their ability to deliver instructional materials effectively. In addition, the learning materials should be developed to better reflect adolescents' contexts, needs, and challenges. These improvements are expected to increase adolescents' engagement in the learning process and support meaningful growth in their faith. The findings of this study are expected to serve as a reference for the future development of a more effective Christian Religious Education curriculum.
